    Our experience with Ellie Mental Health was a very poor one. In our first appointment, the therapist struggled to stay awake. It was noticeable to both people in the session. In subsequent sessions, he proceeded to talk about himself for at least 20 minutes out of every 60 minute session. This happened at each appointment. Then, three days prior to our next scheduled meeting, we requested to reschedule the appointment. After multiple phone calls requesting the therapist return my call, the office could confirm that they canceled our appointment, but no one would reschedule an appointment. We received zero communication regarding rescheduling, despite my repeated calls. We never got a single response from our therapist despite repeated requests that he call us back. This unethical lack of care and follow through would be especially concerning for a client in crisis and is simply unacceptable in any realm of mental health or any healthcare for that matter.
