I am rejecting this response because:Mr ********************** is completely DELUSIONAL!!!! My brother was witness to ********************** saying the city of Nampa charges $300 for site plan!!! I can get notarized statement. Fiurthermore I started to write the check to the city per **********************'s instructions when he changed to say it would take too long to clear---make it out to him. And NEVER did I hire or agree to the horrible little floorplan he came up with! PLUS....he quoted the city requirements incorrectly....and with numerous trips there, I fnally got accepted plans and permits.I FIRED ********************** Construction---more since I lost faith in his professional ability to perform---and NOT ONCE did I see pics of his completed builds....nor did he offer any addresses to go see his work!!!
I had been in constant contact for three prior months before arriving in *****; here's an omen----********************** couldn't meet up with me because he was playing golf!!! I flew 3000 miles and invested thgousands of dollars to deal with a friend's referral; a "builder" who has no pics of completed builds proving he could perform; no current jobs to go and check; no "spec sheet"....and a price "guestimate" of costs....and some were doule entered...none were exact....and he even spelled my name wrong!!!
DOES THIS LACK OF CREDIBILITY AND PROFESSIONALISM INSTILL FAITH IN YOU?? Would YOU hire him in my shoes?
Within few days I found a designer/architect/GC who helped me finish CORRECT site lines....and we broke ground last month! My 850 sq foot (with 400' double garage) will be finished around Christmas!
250+ more square feet (another ERROR by ****** **********************--stating Nampa only allow 500' and unit cannot exceed height or be wider than existing building. ) CLEARLY MORE LYING or IGNORANCE from ********************** since my ADU is 4' higher and 23' wider than ********************** stated City requirements!!!
My GC did all plans...including construction blueprints....ans also designed an open floor plan with 1.5 baths...walk in closet...walk in pantry....and vaulted ceilings with 9' height---things ********************** said NOT PERMIT-TABLE in *****! Or---things HE COULD NOT DESIGN OR BUILD!!!
At this time....I would not trust ****** young to even paint any buildings! I've yet to address these concerns with the ***************************** on fraud....nor have I officially set in stone legal options including litigation. Mr ********************** already has admitted he offered (in writing ) to repay me the $300.00. So we can add broken contract to the list---and NO WHERE in that statement is anything about any bills from supposed people he works with---which is com pounded by the LEGAL FACT I did NOT hire or agree to use services by "ghost people" from a supposed contractor who had no current building projects....no referral letters...no pics proving work....no spec sheet....***** rounded off estimates for costs....
It will be my responsibility to make all these horrid facts public so as to protect others from **********************'s haphazard and reckless methods of operations!
P.S. I can forward many docs AS PROOF
of details about components to be used. And his price went from "around $75,000 to over $150,000" all with no plans---no permits---no blueprints!!!So I fired ****** **********************. As mentioned, ********************** agreed in phone conversations in text messages, and in person in front of my brother that he would "REPAY ME THE $300 check he said was for City site plan!"The simple floor plan he offered to me and City was tiny...boxed up.....dark...long hallway...I would NEVER commission such plans!Having wasted thousands of dollars to plan this trip to get unit started....I dealt daily with Nampa Planning and Building departments---so helpful.They all questioned Mr **********************'s motivation and abilities due to so many rules spelled out in city guides. My brother and I designed a BIGGER open space with 1.5 baths....and the city showed us where to change details to pass permitting. I found local ***** General contractor that designs...does blueprints; I had accepted blueprints and broke ground within a month Proves that intuition and red flags need to be dealt with.

IN REGARDS TO ** ********** COMPLAINT.
THIS GENTALMAN WAS REFERD BY A SUB CONTRACTOR THAT WE USE. HE WANTED TO AD AN ADU ON HIS PROPERTY. WHEN WE FIRST SPOKE
HE WANTED SOMETHING SIMPLE AND HAD NO IDEA ON COST. HE WAS INFORMED THAT IT COULD START AS LOW AS $75K AND GO UP DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH DETAIL HE WANTED. TO START THE PROJECT I WENT TO THE PROPERTY TO SEE HIS PLANS AND GET MEASUREMENTS. HE IS LIVING IN ******* SO I MET WITH HIS BROTHER THAT LIVES THERE. I TOLD BOTH OF THEM THAT WE HAVE TO MAKE A SITE PLAN AND GET ALL DETAILS SUBMITED TO THE CITY BEFORE ANYTHING WOULD HAPPEN WITH CONSTRUCTION.THIS IS TO MAKE SURE HE COULD EVEN DO WHAT HE WANTED. THE ARCHITECT/PLANNER CONTACTED THE CITY TO GET INFO SUCH AS SETBACKS, DISTANCE TO INSTALL DRIVEWAY FROM CORNER, AND ANY OTHER ISSUES WITH THIS LOT BEING ON A CORNER. THE PLANNER CHARGED $300 FOR THIS SERVICE. ** ******** THOUGHT THIS WAS TO BE PAID TO CITY EVEN AFTER I EXPLAINED IT MANY TIMES THAT IT WENT TO PLANNER. AFTER MANY TRIPS TO LOT AND PHONE CALLS I FINALY HAD ENOUGH DETAILS TO GIVE HIM AN ESTIMATE FOR PROJECT. I EXPLAINED MANY TIMES THAT WE WOULD NOT START PROJECT WITHOUT AN SIGNED ESTIMATE AND CONTRACT. HE DID NOT AGREE TO PAY ANY DEPOSIT, HE WANTED TO PAY AS THINGS GOT COMPLETED. I TOLD HIM THAT IS NOT HOW IT WORKS. ** ******** THAN WENT TO THE CITY OF ***** TO TRY TO GET MORE INFORMATION. I SPOKE WITH HIM AFTER HE HAD BEEN THERE AND THEY SAID HE WAS VERY CONFUSED ON WHAT HE WAS REALLY LOOKING FOR. HE ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT AN ADDTION NOT AN ADU. THESE ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. I EXPLAINED TO ** ******** AFTER HE WENT TO THE CITY THAT I HAD SPOKE WITH THEM AND THAT THEY EXPLAINED TO ME THAT HE WAS ASKING QUESTIONS THAT DID NOT MATCH THE PROPOSED PROJECT. THEY INFORMED ME AFTER LOOKING AT THE SITE PLAN I GAVE HIM THAT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN APPROVED IF SUBMITED. BOTTOM LINE IS THAT YOUNG CONSTRUCTION SERVICES DID EVERYTHING TO HELP AND EXPLAIN THIS PROCESS TO ** LATTER BEFORE HE PUT ANY MONEY INTO THE PROJECT. AS FAR AS HIS TRIP TO TOWN HE COMES EVERY YEAR TO VISIT HIS BROTHER FOR 30 DAYS OR MORE. SO HE DID NOT COME JUST FOR THIS PROJECT. I CAN PROVIDE ANY LETTERS, EMAILS, AND TEXT FROM MYSELF,
THE CITY AND THE PLANNER IF NEEDED. EVERYTHING WAS ON GREAT TERMS UNTIL HE RECEIVED THE ESTIMATE.
I ALSO TOLD HIM I WOULD REFUND HIS $300 BUT THEN HE WOULD GET An INVOICE FOR THAT ***** FROM THE PLANNING COMPANY. HE DID RECEIVE THE SITE PLANS. HE TOLD ME NO INVOICE FROM ANYONE JUST GIVE HIS MONEY BACK.

We have enclosed a file that contains all the info for Mr. ********** *** project.
These are the docs that show what is required by the city of nampa, along with floor plans and site plan. As you will see we did everything that was required by the city for an ADU.
I contacted the city of ***** last week to confirm that Mr ******** has started a project. Upon the conversation with The City of Nampa the gentleman told me that Mr ******** has changed his plans to an Addition. This was not the original plan because he did not want the new section to be part of the existing home. Mr ******** wanted a separate structure for future rental use. Now his new Addition will have to have access to the existing home.
To address other issues of his complaint as follows;
1] He stated i told to write a check to me because it would not clear the bank for the city. Wrong, the check was written out to my company and we wrote one to the planner for all docs. He was always told it would cost for site plans.
2] He stated i didn't even know how to spell his name. I received his info from his friend that referred us to him. I was only told his alias name of ***** Beach.
That is the name he used with us.
3] He stated that i was playing golf and could not meet with him. The fact is i was in a golf tournament on June 16th. Mr ******** was still in *******. At this point we have been texting ideas., there was no way to "meet with him".
4] He stated that he traveled 3000 miles and spent thousands of dollars just for this project. Again false. He comes to visit his brother and the auto auctions every year. This was a good time to go over and start a project that he has been thinking of for some time, according to Mr ******** per our conversations.
5] Mr ******** also stated that he fired us and we broke a contract. False, we never had a contract because we were just gathering info for the project. He did not want to do a contract, deposit or any commitment until all info and cost of the project was provided. After giving him a spreadsheet with multiple options on interior finishes he sent a very nasty text. That may be his way of firing someone that he has not even hired.
6] Mr. ******** stated I told him we would refund his $300.00. It is true that i told him i would refund it, but he would still receive an invoice from the planner. This was not money for our company. He stated there will be no invoice and he would not pay anything to anyone even though he had received site plans and other docs.
7] He also stated that our company did not provide any references or photos of projects completed by us. He never asked for any of these items. He stated many times that the friend of his that referred us " OUR DRYWALL CONTRACTOR" trusted us and that was good with him. Had he asked we could provide as many photos and references as he wanted. This is an easy and common request in our business.
I could go on about many false statements made by Mr ******** but I think with the info we have provided that is not needed.
Our company, The City of Nampa, the planner and our subs that met at the location are not sure why Mr ******** has provided this incorrect info and complaint. If there is any further info needed by us please feel free to let us know.

I am rejecting this response because:Mr Young is totally and completely in error...in fact he is outright lying on most every point he posted. City planners require NO SUCH $300 FEE. I haven't time or space to attach files and documents to substantiate the true facts. ****** Young would not recognize truth if it hit him in his face!
I will say i was in ***** while he was "playing" golf. A simple truth he bends. I would be able to share more docs with you; but they are in *****....i am in ******* where i winter. Besides...he WILL NEVER HONOR HIS WORD AND REPAY ME...and i doubt BBB has any process to force that action. So this is a total waste of space. Perhaps my clearest way to satisfaction is litigation. And I have witnessed to the ***** I ask numerous times to see his work. For all proof shown me...he doesn't want to share his work---if he actually is who he states he is. I will get with States Attorney General upon arrival this ********* WAY WAS I GOING TO GIVE A DEPOSIT to a shady individual who fabricates stories and failed to even know code...let alone the incomplete net sheet he furnished.
my ADU is 95% complete...and it was accomplished by a TRUE PROFESSIONAL G.C.
