    Got an awesome kingsnake from them. They worked with me on shipping times to avoid the winter storm that we had. The snake was well packed, and had a heat pack that was working when it arrived. Very healthy, and already ate 2 pinkies. Will use again.

    My Juvenile Bearded Dragon arrived alive and already comfortable in bonding with his new family. He is so beautiful. The customer service and shipping was an excellent experience.I recommend Back Water Reptiles to anyone looking for a new reptilian family member.     Earned a customer for life. My baby frogs arrived packaged exceptionally well, stayed warm despite the cold weather. When the frog I purchased ended up being out of stock, they went above and beyond to make sure there was resolution and I was satisfied and loved the solution. They communicate exceptionally well and I am very pleased. Earned a customer for life. I ordered feeders as well and those arrived perfectly packed as well no escapees and I was IMPRESSED that there were no dead feeders, they were healthy and fat and my frogs gobbled them up instantly.     The folks at backwater reptiles were very prompt to follow up with my questions, the specimens that I purchased were basically flawless, and the prices are more than reasonable. any future purchases of turtle specimens will be through them. Just a pleasure to do business with.

    I ordered *****'s Treefrogs from them and they came to my door in perfect order! I also got to speak with them over their anti fraud, my card address and home address didn't match as I had just moved a few weeks prior to ordering. They worked with me and we sorted it out. Very friendly people and my frogs are healthy and happy!

    My son's birthday frogs came yesterday morning. They are healthy and happy and exactly what he wanted. We were both thrilled to find a free bonus frog in the box too!I reached out to Backwater with a question and they responded within 5 min. I was so impressed. They have been nothing but professional. I am really happy with their service.

    This place is AMAZING! My second time ordering and I couldnt be more pleased with the animals I received. Also the customer service and communication was great!!! They also made sure to ship when weather was decent for the safety of the animals. They were well packaged and supplied with a heat pack that was still warm on arrival. Lots of variety on the site too. Check them out!

    I just filed a complaint against Backwater Reptiles Upon reading some of the other reviews. It is very evident that Backwater Reptiles thrives in their fraudulent business practices and mistruths .I recently purchased a tarantula from them. paid the price they set for overnight shipping. Made sure I was home when the tarantula was delivered to me. At no time was the animal outside other than from the deliver vehicle to my front door. That would be maybe 20 steps. I attempted to notify them immediately via through the form on their web site (a message comes up and says they have been having trouble with the form malfunctioning. It has been that way for at least a couple months and still is-probably because they don't want to be contacted.Then tried to call them. A voice mail comes up and sends you to a mailbox but it says the mailbox is full and cannot leave a message and disconnects you. This has also been this way for at least a couple months. Anyone that has dealt with this "business" will agree. Just read their other customers reviews.The tarantula I received was almost dead and died a few hours later. I e-mailed them four times before they responded. I also questioned why I received a very small goliath bird eater spider (the spider I ordered) when I actually ordered a Med/Large one per their website. A Goliath Bird Eater spider is the largest tarantula in the world. I asked them this four different times in an e-mail over the course of a few days and still have not received an answer. They asked that I take pictures of the dead animal, which I did. Sent it to them. They asked again and again. They also asked me to take another picture of the dead tarantula and just write the date on a piece of paper. I did that. Then the came back the next day sorry that will not suffice because the temperature dropped to ************************************************************************************************ at the door They refuse to refund my money. Avoid them
