  ****** was easy to work with very professional and cared for my needs that made the process very simple. The crew was amazing. Very respectful of the customer . They took very good precautions to protect windows and garage door. The tear off and install was fast and clean up was great , could hardly tell they were here. Thanks again to the ***** team , job well done.

  In an industry known for shady and unethical business practices, it can feel overwhelming knowing who to trust. When I saw that this company was Idaho's 2023 winner of the BBB Spark Award, it definitely spoke volumes. That award is given to new companies that "show exceptional Character, Culture, and Community". The BBB describes winners as "demonstrating a higher level of character, an authentic mission-driven culture, and a deep connection with their community." It is hard to believe a roofing company could even qualify for this reward, let alone win it, yet every interaction I've had with them shows it was well deserved.I have found their employees to be knowledgeable, professional, and polite. Their inspection was very well documented and they spent plenty of time explaining exactly what issues they found. The sales process wasn't pushy and I appreciated their approach. One last thing I should mention is that they have employees dedicated to communicating with insurance. Other companies wanted me to navigate the claims process myself and let them know what they would cover, but **** **** handled the entire process from start to finish. He has an amazing grasp of the current code and was even at my house to meet with the insurance adjuster when he inspected my roof. I could tell from the interaction that he has met with this same adjuster many times and had a good working relationship. Nobody wants to deal with insurance companies and having them handle the whole process was a major relief. They deserve five starts just for that!

  WOW! What an amazing company! From start to finish on my new roof, I have been amazed at the superior customer service. They worked with my insurance company and got everything approved quickly and kept me informed during the process. I am so impressed with Dodd Roofing. Thank you for making our experience one we won't soon forget. My new roof looks AMAZING!

  Excellent roofing company! They show great care for their clients and worked hard to collaborate with our insurance company. They're transparent in what they do (i.e. what the inspection involves, next steps, etc). It is very apparent the owner cares to deliver excellence.   These guys are next level! I have had roofers try to get insurance to cover the wind damages in the past and only had success with getting the shingles replaced. These guys managed to do that and more and got me an entire roof set for 30 years! Highly recommend them with how amazing they are and how easy they're process is! I know I'm referring my family and friends I know to them!

  Scam A person from this company came to our house and everything he told my wife was a lie I called him after reviewing the doorbell videos and then I called him and questioned him and let him incriminate himself until the end when I couldnt take it any longer Thats when I told hi I had been a roofing contractor for 40 years in ************ and had been to the manufacturer if plant to see exactly how theses shingles were made and the explanation he was giving was completely incorrect *********** has only been around for less than 2 years The owner has zero previous roofing experience this gentleman has only sale experience zero actual roofing knowledge experience He talked a lot about previous existing code violations and this is all about getting the insurance to pay for a new roof I have had , in the 4 years here, at least 15 of these so called roofers trying to say I have storm damage and say they can get the insurance to pay for it!Im sorry but that is so unethical !Beware

  This review did not have a transaction and did not have a roof inspection at the home. No business was performed at the ***** residence.

  Hi ****, if you get anything from this review response all I ask is that you dont treat any of the other 15 roofing companies that you mentioned who are lyingwho have come to your home that has visible damage the way you have treated mine coming in from the *******************. Most of the roofers who are coming to you are experienced and are also local and while they *** not have 40 years of experience roofing in the *******************, they do know what is possible and legal in the **************.

  
  Another concern that I have too since you claim to have owned a business is instead of reaching out to speak to someone at our office regarding your concerns with a Sales Representatives approach, you decided to go on the BBB page and write a review to try and affect our ***** grown business which is disheartening because of all of the hard work we put into doing the right thing for everyone we come into contact with and your review and statement are not an indication of how we do business because we havent even done anything with you or your residence.

  
  We are saddened to see a review regarding our process and how we do business when you havent done business with us or even got an inspection on your roof and are telling us we have done incriminating stuff when we offered to do a free roof inspection that *** help you get coverage through insurance if wind or hail damage is prevalent. Being that we have ************************* Certified Roof Inspectors on our team, our language and approach to helping you as a homeowner was professional, honest and in no way was incriminating as we have an amazing relationship with all insurance companies, insurance adjusters locally and have spoken to the ********** of ********* regarding our approaches so what we say and do is legal and is not misleading to homeowners.

  
  We pride ourselves on our nothing but 5 star service and our track record locally in these two years proves that what we do is honest and is always in the best interest of the homeowners we work with. We will always address any concerns homeowners have immediately but if a review comes in from a person that is meant to bash our company which was founded by a family of Idahoans and you are coming in from ********** without fully understanding what we do is very rude, unprofessional and concerning for other local companies who run into you because any business owner that is an Idahoan will always do what they can to help our fellow neighbor and your intent is very malicious and not the way we treat the people of our community or in our great state.

  
  The Sales Representative who spoke with you was nothing but professional even with you yelling at him and speaking over him on the phone and treating him like less than a human because you felt like you were right and you were going to teach him a ****** and berated him while he had done nothing wrong but knocked on your door and spoke to your wife about your roofing system. Please do your research before leaving a review about how much of a scam we are or any other business is because that is so far from the truth. We have helped countless homeowners who couldnt afford roofs with other options aside from insurance and we have also created a platform for people to maintain their roofs for an in expensive cost so that way they have an affordable option to make sure their home is protected and well maintained without having to replace their roof which was featured on our local news to spread the word.

  We wish you the best in retirement and I really hope your attitude towards local business and thinking everyone is out to get you changes because if 15 other roofers are all saying the same thing then *** be we all know something you don't. You *** have been treated like that in ********** but most people in ***** are genuinely wanting to help because that is just who we are. Have a blessed day.

  First of all I did not yell at him and the 15 othe contractors I spoke with I told the them pretty much the same thing Your employee, I informed him that his statements were either misleading, in**rrect or just flat out wrong The statements you made about me were in fact lies I am not currently listed as sales manager for el Camino roofing ** I retired in march of 2010 El Camino footing ** closed their doors several years ago That so called screenshot that say you have of the phone number I called from that directly toes me to the physical address in ******** ********** is another lie That is an ****** phone number under my wifes name Every thing your employee said is on my security video camera which I have downloaded so there is no **nfusion to what was said I didnt just call him out of the blue I called out of response after reviewing all the footage and then let him repeat everything and it wasnt until he told me that the teeth oh the shingles, ac**rding to a new report, is actually part of the water proofing and not just architectural, so thats when I stopped him

  Thank you for your input, ****. At this point there is nothing more to talk about because you already blasted my company as a scam, mocked me as an owner for no reason and stated that we have only been around for two years but you have no clue why we branched out and you dont know the quality of work we do. I have worked in roofing for many years and worked for multiple roofing contractors but I had decided to branch out because I noticed where I was at did not have the honesty, integrity and standards that are required to do a job right the first time. Although I didnt agree with what the other contractors were doing to cut corners, I was taught you reap what you sew and talking poorly about them to homeowners and allowing people to see those contractors on my page who I worked for to figure out who I am speaking about regarding poor installations would not be the professional thing to do.

  If you were to have a conversation in person regarding all types of roofing systems you would know very quickly that I have way more than a couple of years of experience in our field.
  

  I wouldve loved to speak with you and learn about what happened as the owner prior to receiving something like this because we really pride ourselves on always doing the right thing and I hate to see a poor review the way this one was written. I genuinely wish you the best and would have a better understanding had you reached out to us without putting my reputation on blast when my family name has been engrained in the community for decades. Your review of your experience with our Sales Representative is what you want it to be and you are entitled to your own opinion of that encounter but trying to label us as a scam and attacking my experience seems beneath a guy who has been in our line of work and understands what it takes to do a job right from start to finish.
