    Oral Surgery Center of Idaho never said they didn't take my sons' insurance despite many opportunities. I asked if they took ******** dental when she called to set up an appointment and she said, "Our consultations are free". But never said they didn't accept ********. They also never said anything when I gave them my sons insurance card she just said "Your all set" after scanning it into their system. I was told by their Orthodontist that Oral Surgery that they accepted ******** when I was referred there and when I asked, and she didn't say no and didn't say they didn't when I handed his ******** insurance card. I was also never given a break down sheet of how much it was all going to cost, and I believed it was because insurance was going to cover it all. I never had to pay anything upfront. Or was asked about how I was going to pay or put a credit card on file. Nothing. Now they are trying to bill me. The ***************** accepts ******** and I believed that they did as well. I have had 2 conversations with them that go nowhere. I tell them I was never told they didn't and told them the whole story. The only thing they tell me is that it's marked in their system that they did. I can assure you that they did not otherwise I would have gone somewhere else.

    We think it is unfortunate and disheartening that this individual submitted an inaccurate complaint. She
    was told on multiple occasions that we do not take her insurance. She came to our office on 6/6/2022
    for her sons consultation. At that appointment, she walked out of our office and declined to sign
    anything, because we do not take her insurance. She chose not to proceed with the surgery in 2022 for
    that reason. However, she elected to return the next year with her son on 4/18/2023 for another
    consult for the same procedure. She did hand our front office her insurance card, and she was told we
    would scan it into the chart, but we still cannot bill her insurance at this office. We told her the
    anesthesiologists bill should be covered (they bill separately), but the surgery would not be. She
    elected to proceed. Her son received the highest quality of care, and they have not paid anything for
    the consultations or the surgery, which has us questioning why this individual even submitted a
    complaint. Prior to submitting her complaint, our office reached out to her regarding the account
    balance. After she expressed her concerns, we told her we would work on it. Our office has submitted a
    special request to her insurance asking that they cover the procedure. Again, we are disappointed this
    individual submitted an inaccurate complaint, however we will continue to try to help her with her
    insurance in any way possible.
