    My children were covered by ******************** for their dental at time of service. They were aware of this but didn't update it. They have seen my kids in office since then with no mention of this bill. Today 12/9/24, we showed up for appointments They canceled without telling us. They were even called by the state and told to refill it but they refuse. They are violating federal law by charging cash to a state covered patient. They even turned it into collections. They are HORRIBLE with customer service and will be sued for this!

    In response to the complaint received, we would like to address the financial concerns that the customer has submitted:

    The financial concern being discussed was from a previous balance. The company was not informed that the customer had updated their insurance, therefore, we were unable to submit a claim on the customersbehalf.  All customers sign a financial agreement with our business that agrees that they will submit any changes in their insurance or financial status in a timely manner.  If that is not submitted or fulfilled correctly with our company, then the responsible party is then held accountable for the financial portion of services rendered. 

    We are happy to help resolve this issue to the full capacity of our ability, following the regulations and guidelines provided with insurance billing processes pertaining to timely filing.  Unfortunately,we were not given this opportunity by the customer prior to their complaint due to lack of communication.  We are willing to speak to the customer and resolve this complaint if they are willing to communicate appropriately. There have not been any violations of federal law in this matter, and it is unfortunate that the customer is unhappy with our company. We do take all complaints seriously.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    This is not accurate. This business is lying to try to avoid their fraudulent charges. They were well aware of the correct insurance. They have been asked by the state to refill it and they refuse. The state also document their refusal to cooperate and there is a formal complaint being made with the state about their unwillingness to cooperate or communicate with them also. There are laws against this and there will be a lawsuit with the state backing me up 100%. Fraud is a crime and the business manager is going to ruin this dental office because she is on a power trip and won't admit they messed up. It's really sad for the owner.
