      I am disputing the charges for Slipknot concert tickets purchased from the **** Idaho Center (ICtickets) on May 2nd 2024. The concert tickets (5) were purchased for a Slipknot concert to be held on September 11, 2024. The total cost was $484 (receipt image below).The night of the concert, it started to rain and lightning shortly before Slipknot was coming on stage. Concert staff announced over the speakers for everyone go to your cars and well let you know when to come back. My group, like many many others, did not drive to the concert. We thought we would go into the building for safety since we had gone in and used the restroom and got concessions earlier. When we got close to the doors we saw everyone was turning around because the Idaho Center staff had kicked everyone out and locked the doors. At this point the rain turned into a complete downpour. Everyone who didnt have cars tried to squeeze in under vendor tents, but this still wasnt very safe for a lightning situation. After a few minutes when the downpour was still happening, the Idaho Center staff started telling us all that the concert was cancelled (images of social media comments from others stating the same thing are below). The downpour continued for about another minute, and then we started walking back home (we live close). Many cars were leaving the parking lot as well. The next morning, I saw on social media that they decided to have the concert later that night. I would like to dispute the $484 charge for services not rendered. This could have been avoided if Idaho Center staff didnt lock people out, nor tell them the concert was cancelled and send them home.I contacted ICtickets customer service on Friday 9/13/24 with this information and request. They responded with a general blanket reply denying a refund, but didnt even address the issues about kicking people out and saying the concert was cancelled (see text from email below).

      My son and I attended a concert on September 11th. I paid $198 for the tickets. The show got paused due to lightning so we, along with many others, waited inside for it to pass. After about 20 minutes Idaho center staff came in and told us to leave because the show was canceled only to find out the following day the show was not canceled. We were told to leave by the Idaho center staff but now they will not refund the money because the show actually went on even though they had us all leave.

      Writing in response to Case ID 22299764.

      The Slipknot concert occurred as planned, though with a delay due to lightning in the area. The guests were instructed on stage to go to their vehicles as we wait out the storm & to pay attention to venue social media accounts for further instructions. Approx 45 minutes after the initial show stoppage, the guests were allowed back into the building as the lightning threat had cleared the area. Slipknot took the stage shortly thereafter, completing their engagement to play a concert.

      While we empathize with the customers situation, the instruction given by the announcements & social media were not followed. At no point was the concert cancelled. Unfortunately, there is no verification of who told the customer this information, it could have been anyone.

      Secondly, the ticket funds requested as resolution are not the property of the venue. The ticket revenue belongs to the band and/or promoter on the event & the venue is not authorized to provide refunds at any point. This is explicitly detailed on our website, at purchase, and on the tickets.

      As a gesture of good faith, wed be willing to extend complimentary tickets to the upcoming REO Speedwagon show (Oct 24) or Monster Jam (Nov 1-3).

      Attended a concert "****" at the Idaho Center on March 24,2023, while there my wife ordered some food from the concession stand and it was cold, very disgusting, and when this issue was brought to the staffs attention they were rude, were going to do nothing about it, and told my wife to deal with it, we are busy. They literally didn't care, and knew they were selling cold food. I have also written a letter to the business, and filed a complaint with the health department.

      A call to ************************* was made on 3.29.2023 and 3.31.2023. ***** and I
      discussed the issue at hand (Cold food, and Rude Cashier at our **** Concert
      Event) and an apology was given, we also discussed compensation, *****
      decided on vouchers, these were mailed out to her for not meeting her
      expectations.

      We take these comments to heart, and we will re-train food handling procedures
      and customer service procedures with the staff in question.

      These complaints, which we do not like to see happen, are great learning and
      training opportunities for us.

      as of this letter the vouchers have yet to be received via us mail. hopefully they arrive shortly, or maybe the company can state when they were mailed.
