    I only gave a 1 star rating because ***** was an excellent hygienist. I would chose ANY Dentist other than ***************** at Gentle Dental; issue was that it was not plainly explained WHEN $500 was due for a replacement crown on a lower molar. I received the temporary crown and tried to leave the office afterwards--I have two insurance plans; everything comes out in the wash. I asked ***************** to call me about how I was treated by front office staff. When he did call me he called me a THIEF and compared me to Shoplifters in ******** IF ***************** had PLAINLY stated the $500 was due at time of the temporary crown placement I would have leapt out of the chair and re-scheduled when I had the $500.00. The missing crown did hurt but I could have managed the pain; I am a 63 year old, silver haired lady who is on a fixed income. I have been bonded since I was 18 years old and withstood a lot of scrutiny because of my current self-employment side gig. I am an honorable person and I would never have stiffed them. BTW when I picked up my final crown for another dentist to replace I only owed $310.00 at Gentle Dental! The new dentist charged me for the placement of the permanent crown; I talked to my primary dental insurance plan and they are aware that the new dentist would be billing my insurance plan for placing the crown.
