      We took in our LA135 riding lawn mowers around 2/28/2023 and requested that the belt be replaced on the mower deck, a tune up, oil change, and to repair the steering issues in which we were replacing very quickly (within the first mow) the steering gear. The service tech told us that the axle appeared wobbled out and estimated between ******* dollars for the repair. The service department made one attempt to call my husband and left a VM asking if wed like the throttle lever replaced. My husband did not call back since that was not on the list of items he was asking to be completed. On 3/24/2023 I finally called the service department and asked about the status of our mower and was told by ****** the service manager that he would see where the tech was at on the mower. He called me back stating that this mower was a serious challenge. I asked the final price and was told that he was going to have to talk to the main manager as to bring down the labor costs. ****** called me back around 230 pm that day to let me know it was ready for pickup and the final cost was $1,558.47. I paid by credit card over the phone just thankful it was fixed. My 18 year old son went to pick up the mower around 3 pm. When my son arrived the mower would barely move forward in which the manager stated it was cold. My son told him its never been that cold. Most of the work outlined in the invoice X23445 was not completed including the oil change. The tech had worked on the drive system and not the mower deck belt. Mower deck belt was never replaced. They did fix the slow driving speed but within 3 *******, the steering is now out again. The cost was well over the estimate without a call to approve the additional work. A new mower is around $2300 and now we have a broken mower again. I have called ****** and he has offered me a diagram to fix it myself. Not professional.

      Our Store Manager in *******, ***** *************************, has contacted this customer to review the bill and discuss the ongoing issue with the mower. He informed the customer that we would happily replace the belt if he brought the machine back in at no charge. We would also discuss any other issues about the mower. The customer also mentioned buying a new mower instead. The customer said he would reach back to Store Manager at a later date to discuss the next actions after he visits with his wife.
