    Disaster Kleenup was hired to perform water remediation and then replace flooring that was damaged. Throughout the process, the mistakes and damage to our home have not stopped and our home has been left in worse condition with a product that is well below acceptable standards. The overall job cost was over $35,000 and will most likely require well over $15,000 in repairs to make right.A few of the major items include:- a job time frame that lasted 3 times longer than originally stated leaving our family out of home for over 30 days. Insurance only covered 14 days of living expenses.- a nearly replaced ******** floor that had to be refinished at least 3 times and the finish is now bubbling, chipping, peeling and has portions that were not.- damage to the flooring of 2 separate rooms that were not part of the original project - unfinished work after providing several (3+) reminders and attempts for it to be completed - weather barrier in a conditioned crawl space that was cut to release water but never sealed back up and only found by my own inspection. If i did not inspect, this could have easily led to major mold/mildew issues within the home.- multiple personal items that were damaged during the process At this point, I am confident that Disaster Kleenup and their subcontractors have left my home severely devalued, caused pain and suffering for my family and none of their employees are providing a path to resolution.

    The customer has legitimate reason for some of the complaints noted.  DK does not agree the home was left in a worse state than when the project began.  DK agrees the wood floor is sub-standard and has agreed to refinish the floor, including items relating to the floor such as baseboard detaching/resetting/painting, content movement, etc. and the cost will be covered by DK and DK's sub-contractors.  This does unfortunately add more time to complete the repairs than is ideal.  DK will expedite to the extent possible to get all repairs completed and returned satisfactorily for the customer.
