On September 18, 2024, we signed a contract with Three Brothers for replacement of 8 windows. We placed a $3000 deposit and were told the window installation was occur in October 2024. However, October came and went and no communication from the business about our windows, despite calling and leaving several messages. After leaving a message stating that I was beginning to think I was getting ripped off, I received a text on Nov. 27th saying that the windows hadn't arrived from the manufacturer, but they would check and see when they were going to arrive. On Dec 5th, when I hadn't heard back, I left another message (but could only reach and talk to the scheduler, which is concerning) and texted again. Received a text back saying that the windows were going to arrive by Dec 13, but then nothing. On Dec. 26th, I texted again, asking when the windows would be in and have still not gotten a reply. At this point, I want a solid date for installation or my deposit money refunded so I can hire a company that will actually do the work.Business Response

I am very sorry we were not able to give you a specific install date. It's hard to give a hard date when we have custom ordered windows. We can give you a much better date once the windows are in because then it's just coordinating an install. The windows are in and we have notified the homeowner that the install should take place on January 14th (assuming we don't run into anything crazy on the current job that makes it take a little longer).Initial Complaint

New bathtub was too be installed in April before we left for the summer but they said they didnt have what was to be installed so we agreed to a hard start date on Sept 30th and was told they didnt have anyone available, someone showed up on Oct 4th to start demolition I was told the job would take 4 days by **** 4 weeks later still not done then they were gone to another job and still waiting for them to come finish last contact with them was on Oct 27 and they said they would get back to me on Monday the 28th and Im still waiting with an unfinished bathroom Going to have to get another contractor to come and finish it seeing they havent fulfilled their end of the contract I need help with what I should do and what my legal options areBusiness Response

**** will call you today in regards to what you want to do with the shower glass door. Since we were just adding a shower glass door to your existing unit that only goes about 5' in the air, most people want their shower glass door to go higher than that so water can't splash out. But if that's what you want, we can absolutely make that happen for you, we just need to know which route you want to go. We were told by one of the homeowners that we should leave the shower glass door how it is because you were going to tile around the top of your existing shower unit to the ceiling. Let us know which route you would like to go so we can make that happen.
In regards to the shower wall jets, that is not something we do, nor have we offered our customers that option. I can have **** send you out the contract to see what you had signed if you no longer have your contract.Initial Complaint

Oct.2023 january 2024 Siding windows. $200. Cash soffits. $200. More oct24Roughly ******. 5,******** down payment. *****cash for tear down. The siding was inspected had to come down and redone. My house is bare wood in some areas. First siding install the installer messed with my roof. When I hired them they promised that all the work I've had done would not be touched and those warranties would be intact. Also was told the roof would not need touched. I planned to do a new roof in 5 years but as of september oct. 2023 before they touched my house the roof did not leak the only sounds from roof when wind blew was the metal flappers at top of bathroom exhaust vents. I saw the guy on my roof and he was beating the drip edge up and had the huge metal tabs under the roof out and he was bending them. My roof was completely altered and is so loud when the wind blows my animals cry and run around crazy and scared and its traumatizing to me. Friends and family will not stay when wind is blowing because it's so loud the walls even creek and flex. The covered the gables exterior vent and covered the soffits vents which is imperative to be uncovered for proper functioning of brand new hvak system and bathroom vents dont work properly with the whole house ventilation system. My house has bare wood and the second attempt at siding was even worse. They havent been back for weeks. The windows either leak air or water even after they thought it was better. When I called office to tell them he cut into my support wall to brand new bath tub and ****** plumbing upgrades they ignored me at first and called my roomate who was livid they bugged him at work and they told him I was making hard for the installers. When finally one of them called me he said he had an excuse for touching roof but the excuse was a lie and when I told him the guy is removing stuff to were his lie would ultimately look like the truth he said to me atta boy. I am rejecting this response because:. Three brothers LLC had Chip from (siding dealer pro installer) Ascend siding come and inspect the siding job the first time and he found the entire siding job wrong and told them that. It wasnt me that said they had to tear it down it was the siding manufacturer that they hired to come and inspect it. So there is one lie that was told I hired a local contractor as well who found the same things wrong that Chip did. So going off all the water leaking into my home all the windows leaking air my house was not as structurally sound as it was before they tore into things they shouldnt have. I caught the siding installer on my roof with the huge metal straps under my roof out and I furnished collages before and after.. I refuse to have a bottle of wits with a man who has been lying to everyone from the start. I welcomed them for a year to come and address things and they wouldnt. I had to involve the finance companies to get them to help me get three brothers to do their job. One finance company after relatively getting ahold of them and they refused to contact the finance company and the finance company closed the complaint by closing the account and inciting me to use them again on future projects. Also **** very much knew about the roof because as the guy was tearing off things under drip edge **** was on the phone with me saying ***** had to alter the roof because there was no where to attatch top trim piece.. I was crying so hard telling him he needed to come over and see what the guy was doing because I specifically s0aid upon hiring them that if my roof had to be messed with then no deal because my roof costs almost ****** so I didnt need anyone with big egos doing anything to my home but siding and windows. **** the guy who sold us on the job made it very clear that my roof was safe and that no one would be cutting into my internal structure. Not only did they cut into my house they cut into my bathroom that was under warranty from $10,000 upgrades, new draining system under bathroom brand new bath tub under warranty. Until they cut into my internal structure and I could touch and see my bath tub from outside. My warranties and the work that contractors did previously no longer matter because the walls lost there integrity from ***** sawing into them. And because they removed the belly band which in manufactured homes serves a purpose its functional and has to be there and I sent **** the info on that as well and requested the belly band to be put back my floors and walls no longer have the support they did from the belly band. They changed where my walls outside start when they removed that. My walls are supposed to start above that and the reason is that belly band is how my floors and walls were never exposed to water and the belly band helps with the air flow because I have a whole house ventilation system and put works with the belly band exterior soffits vents ***** vents and entire ventilation system. They blocked off all exterior vents and for my health anyone's health the vents keep my house dry and keeps carbon dioxide from cooking candles and all the normal house stuff that could leave cant leave .because they still havent put the exterior vents back and they cant put up siding until they get the vents that were there back. So I'm not telling anyone to leave in fact I begged them to get this done but done right. They came in and messed with my house and never used installers that know what they are doing or their own inspections would have been papll good but not one inspection has gone that way. ***** ******* keagan, *******, ***** are all very well aware. I have had licensed contractors do inspections and they have completely refused to look at the findings and talk to them. It wasnt ***** that tore down siding it was two old guys that yelled at us because they were here on a Saturday. After that it was a while before anyone got back to me weeks and my home sat completely open and vulnerable. Finally keagan came and we agreed on how to move forward but after 2 days on the job they stopped coming because keagan was transferred in the middle of the job and the ***** *** told the contractor I had trying to help me get my vents put back and the things that made my house less safe. ***** told her that three brothers wasnt paying them so they arent coming back. Later that day I found out that ***** actually works for three brothers and so that was a lie too. They finally came and were going to put siding up without cutting the vents out again and when reminded the vents have to be cut back in they scratched their heads said they would talk to a boss. I have verification from yet another inspection I had done through my attorney that states their findings and experienced installers? Twice they tried only to cover up their faults not caring about the health issues they are putting my pets me and family through and the entire ventilation system that all uses the exterior vents )to filter and dispose of the toxins. They this time blocked the entire "whole house ventilation system" and where it should be open under the drip edge they put wall all the way up to roof. Wrong again. And as long as the top of the wall goes up to roof you cant see how ***** unstrapped the roof. All they have done is more damage to cover up ******* mistakes. The things he did to my house has hurt my house and its affecting our health. So its bot enough that their inspectors my inspectors the law firms inspectors say Wrong Wrong Wrong (not me) of course it wasnt ok with me but real life contractors and inspectors attempting to get them to see what they continue doing wrong **** *** Dont care. I'm recently disabled from a major accident I just wanted windows siding and now I have an unwrapped ma0nufactured home roof that costs like I said almost ****** so I'm not ok with the destruction if my property. They could have got away with everything if they would have cut the vents they covered back in they could finis0h but **** doesnt want to do anything right. There has been no integrity at all on the workmanship quality windows. Well I submitted so much and I will not be going back an forth with these guys anymore on here. Everyone needs to be warned of these guys because they prepare hired for what I expected to be in the top 10 things I did in my life for myself. But what I got was lied to, bullied, told just let him finish so he can get paid he has a family and baby on the way. They had me pay for tear down it's on contract that I was paying for it. Then they called the finance company that I put *****. Cash downpayment to service finance they took ***** back to pay ***** **** for teat down but it's in the contract and was already figured in. So someone in there are having money problems because they stole from me out of the downpayment. I didnt call finance company saying it was ok. In fact how did they release those funds without me? I see the ***** down but then later after the finance company got the money they N took out ***** more cash and then added ***** more onto the loan I would pay back. So yes three brothers is not just a mistake but it's my life and my family's life my pets he has ve to live here and all I've done is upgrade upgrade upgrade for our safety, security, health and happiness. Never ever did I imagine that a company would cone in and destroy things, block things that are harmful for our health and the almost ****** in upgrades before them we have done dont mean anything now my amazing upgrades, dont pmean anything since they came along removing, or blocking and unstrapping of roof. When the wind blows it sounds like my roof is tearing off and the vents they covered is what keeps my house my roof safe it's in 5he manual which I sent screenshots of everything and they are calling me a liar. No i know what my home was because we spent so much money getting it that way. Now it's nothing its garbage the floors walls not secure since the removal of the band that ran below external walls. They blocked my access panel to under my house but since removing the bpapnd I can see and touch so much wood that was never exposed before. I asked **** to please send someone to unblock the access panel but he hasnt. I need to make sure that the membrane holding under my house together is still untracked since that board was also the support and anchors for the membrane under home. Plus being cold weather I need to make sure everything is in order for winterization and maintenance I do in the fall but three brothers have been going strong proving the kind of c*** work they do. They even put "roofing materials" for the loan on the siding with service financial. "Roofing materials" its vinyl siding. Anyways **** will never be able to be honest I finally figured that out from the atta boy he said when i was on phone with him while ***** was removing things from my roof beating on my roof and unwrapping my roof I was watching ***** telling **** your boy is covering his tracks by removing everything to adhere the top piece of trim to. Atta Boy? These guys came in and did what they wanted not caring about my safety or family's, they have refused to hear or see results of inspections. I really want nothing ever to do with them again they hav es taken away from me and mine causing unsafe conditions breaking my warranties and broke so many codes of ethics. I didnt feel like it was my house because when I said stop leave they refused and I watched him hurry and cover up things beat on my roof with Bras on the phone promising me things will be even better when hes finished that he promised the guy knew what he was doing that I would be overjoyed with the end results. Bot even close to overjoyed not even ok. So **** stop putting your guys back of knowledge on me I hired new siding and windows and got the biggest blotch job with all the things that hold my house together broken or removed you guys did that and I have the inspections contractors that told you keagan *** ***** that they will help u guys to put things back but you have rejected everything not me. So please help me warn the community. Because if this is what they do to aging disabled female homeowners then I have to try and protect the community from these guys they are even showing our local contractors to throw integrity and ethics out the window and lot do whatever they want to the person's home and to not do anything right and how to double charging clients they know wont be raising h*** in the office because they are broken at home. My home was safe and secure. They took that away from us. And if new windows and siding where installed right I WOULD BE HEALING FROM MY ACCIDENT STRESS FREE SAFE AND SOUND IN MY HOME. I WOULD HAVE) BEEN IN ******* WHILE GRAND BABIES ARE BORN OR IN ******* WHILE OTHER GRANDBABIES ARE BORN BUT INSTEAD IVE BEEN TRAPPED HERE WAITIBG FOR YOU GUYS TO FOLLIW THROUGH WHICH THEY NEVER WILL AT LEAST NOT THE RIGHT WAY THAT COULD PASS AN INSPECTIONS THERE HAVE BEEN FOUR ALL TOGETHER ONE IN WHICH they had done. And every one the work was found to be wrong the instillation wrong everything wrong and more since I guess u guys do things to houses to require people to need even more major jobs down the road.?? I've offered **** everything I know even copies of findings. So he can keep saying I'm lying but the proof is in the pudding and i have lots of pudding. I have filed a non emergency police report if anything happens to me because as the licensing board pointed out that's a lot of money I paid these guys and if they were blowing it well me off then they dont care if people find out about everything that will come out is damaging and they apparently dobt care. So I decided to protect myself in that way as well I FAILED TO PROTECT MY HOME BY TRUSTING THESE GUYS. The roofing company did a roof for my mom in January of 2024, the broke ceiling tiles. She called and they never followed through with getting back to her. Now she has passed away. I have been trying to get them out here to fix them tiles since the 3rd week of August 2024 and still has not been done. I also gave them money to start a job installing skylights. They have gave me the runaround on someone coming out repeatedly. They have no showed 3 times. One time I had missed some time away from work.Business Response

We contracted with Three Brothers to replace 4 windows of our home. When the job was completed we had issues with window perimeter seals cracking and 2 windows not closing properly. They came out and serviced the windows and resealed the caulking. One window would not close enough to lock both locks on the top rail of the sash. They referred it to the window manufacturer. The manufacturer came out to replace the lower sash. He inspected the window and found that the bottom plate has a crown in it. That causes a rise in the middle of the sash, limiting the closure of the locks. He declared it is not an issue with the window, and took pictures of the inside and outside of the sash, and sill plate demonstrating the crown. We did not hear from three brother for some time and had no responses for several weeks. On 07/31/2024 We received an email that they would start a work order and rectify the issue. It has been crickets since then, with no date to expect or return message on a timely fix. We feel we are being "Ghosted" by Three Brothers. We have paid them in full and now can't get the warranty service they promisedBusiness Response

On December 29, 2023 my husband and I entered into a contract with Three Brothers to complete an unfinished attic in our home. We gave a deposit of $10,741 and were given an approximate start date of January 29, 2023 (should have been 2024). The sales rep took me to pick out flooring about a week later. We did not hear anything from the company after that. I reached out to the salesman in February to see what was happening. I was told the business had been swamped with storm damage work and would be getting to my project soon. I did not get any further contact from anyone, so I contacted the sales rep again. On March 29, 2024 I had a voice message from **** saying they had "gotten some things tightened up" and would be starting on my project next. A few days later the sales rep came to the house with the project manager, and they looked at the attic for a few minutes, told me they wanted to get the building inspector to take a look and that they would be ready to start in a few weeks. I did not hear anything further from the company. On June 26, 2024, I sent a letter to the company demanding the contract be canceled and my deposit returned to me. On July 2, 2024, I got a call from **** leaving me a message that they were wrapping up some other jobs and would be ready to start on mine in a few weeks. I called him back and told him I do not want his company to do this job. We were six months past the contract date and five months past the approximate start date and I informed him I had no faith in his company and to refund my deposit. He told me he would have to discuss the matter with the partners, and he would get back to me. The next day I got a text telling me he would be meeting with them in a few days and would let me know. I still have not heard back from him. I've called and left voice messages and also texted him with no response. Please help me get my deposit back as there has been no service provided in almost seven months.Business Response

10/04/23 Purchased 11 windows to be installed by Three Brothers. 2/8/24. Windows were installed. Largest window, in livingroom is not level. 2 windows next to entry doors do not meet code. Installer did not insulate windows at all. Salesman gave inaccurate information about the coil on windows being replaced as well as siding on home. ****** I am very sorry you feel this way.
We have tried working with you to make you feel better about your window trim scenario.
This is why he have to have contracts in place to show what we intend to do and what is all included. I have attached a picture of what you signed and it showing that we weren't able to reuse the trim because of how your siding was installed and because of all the caulk that you or the sider you hired had put around the windows.
The sales rep who was at your house put that on your contract so you could be aware of that. In most cases we can re use the trim, but before we got to your house, there were some things done to the house that shouldn't have been done.
And yes, even though we were not supposed to do the trim, I offered you some money back to help pay for what you need done. That trim was clearly stated that it was not our responsibility and that bumms me out that you are unhappy with the job.

The contract states that I would be informed in writing and in pictures if there were damages. I receiver neither from the installer. Contract also statescaulking/seal would be provided by the installer. My windows are not sealed nor was there insulation put in during installation. Pictures 1-6 are of my house the morning the siding was put on. Please note the windows. 5-8 was the siding put on, note the windows. 9-15 are of the wrap inaccuracies. ***** is the coil your window attempted to do 2 3 of the 11 windows. After I paid him an additional ******* to put on the wrap. ***** Is my livingroom window. Note the circle inaccuracies. A-E are the checks I wrote for siding and windows. ************* represented your company as Three Brothers. The pictures show the limited amount of accuracy or Integrity you have on you contract. As I stated earlier, I am sorry to hear that you had a misunderstanding of what was to be completed, but this is why we have contracts set in place to show this, we are a small family business that can't just give freebies away.
I know you are very happy with the windows, but you're just disappointed that you didn't get the extras with it.
I attached a screen shot of a text between us of you stating you loved the windows, it's clear you are just bummed.
On top of our contracts, our window installer even told you about the window trim and you agreed before he even installed it

There was flashing coil and insulation in my windows prior to Three Brothers Installing new ************ I have no insulation, no flashing coil, 1 window that is not level, 5 windows have drafts and 2 windows do not meet code for the location they are in according to a reputable WINDOW COMPANY

I made a deposit of over $9,900 in Dec of ********************************************************************************* Feb of 23 or Mar at the latest. Nothing happened, and my account was assigned to an office employee who told me to ignore everything the contracting officer had said and commanded me to "READ YOUR CONTRACT" which she said required an April start. I knew there was a major problem at that point if the company easily disregarded the promises of its contracting officer.. ******* and lies have been continual. Other than that office person, everyone is pleasant and apologetic. The excuse that the building permit is pending has been used over and over. Three Brothers has had turn over and other problems, but I want the project done or if they can't handle the project, I'd like my money returned, Perhaps they will be more honest and forthcoming with you involvement.Business Response

We are planning to start his project next week now that the permits are in. please confirm with our customer after next week and close the case.

My father ********************* hired Three Brothers to do some siding work, back in August 2022. My dad paid a deposit of $2081, and the check was cashed 8/27/22, but the work still has not been done. My father's phone calls are not returned. My father finally talked to ********************* and said he wanted his money back since no work has been performed. That was a week ago and no check came in the mail.Business Response

We have met with **** and found out that he didn't leave the review and that it was someone else that isnt involved in the project, We have however resolved the issue with **** and will be refunding his entire project.
please remove complaint as it is not the customer that or even anyone we have met with or spoken too.
