5 starsI can't praise this company enough! They turned our drab backyard into everything I dreamed. ******* took the ideas I had and enhanced them. I now have a great patio for entertaining, a waterfall and pond for relaxing, and a putting green. The guys were respectful, punctual, and just all around nice guys. I highly recommend them. Legends was hired to install curbing that was colored and stamped. They did a good job with that. It took three months after accepting the bid but, I'm happy with the curbing and the crew was pleasant. They were also hired to stain a concrete wall 6 x 70. I would not recommend them for staining. The bid ($1,375) apparently only included one coat of stain and no bonding primer on a very old porous wall. This resulted in very different colors in the wall. They power washed, and then stained. I'm wondering if the lighter area was still a bit wet when they started staining, and possibly the stain was pulled in to the concrete as the wall dried more. The area that was stained last, which had an hour or so to dry, is the color I envisioned. When trying to find a resolution with them, I was told they stained according to there (manufacturer's) recommended installation and followed it to the *** I disagree. I offered to buy the extra stain if they would put in the labor, they declined. They did offer to come out for additional $450. I declined.I purchased additional stain ($70) sprayed it on with my garden sprayer in about 1.5 hours, and now love my wall. The ****** is to verify what exactly is in the bid. Primer? Two coats? Does it allow for drying time in-between washing or a second coat?

There will always be a variation in color when applying to aged concrete, however the stain is buildable and we sent over an estimate for added stain to achieve a color that you would love. You declined the estimate to add another gallon of stain to see if you liked that color better. We wish you luck in your future endeavors. Thank you again!
