I purchased seats out of a t100 that the said wasn't modified I am pretty sure they were because they don't fit my t100 at all I am pretty sure they are a ****** tundra seats and they don't fit and they won't do anything about it they won't take them back even though know one will modify the seats because it's a liability. They should've disclosed to me that they were modified and didn't they keep saying they weren't modified when they pulled them I have already talked to them they won't do anything.

We are used parts dealer selling parts from salvaged vehicles. We would have no way of knowing if modifications were ever done during the life of the vehicle.

That said, we sold this customer seats from what appears to be a quite stock 1996 T100.
There was no indication of any modifications having been done to these seats. The experienced technician who pulled the seats said there was not any noticeable modifications. They are fairly plain by design so modifications should be obvious had the seats had any.

Further, customer came to our yard and picked out these seats before purchasing them.

The upholstery was in need of repair so we sold the seats at a discount from their retail price and with our standard 60 day replacement warranty as was printed on the customers receipt.

The customer did call and inform us the seats did not fit her vehicle. We advised that we could start looking for replacement seats however the customer wanted not only a refund, which was not included in the terms of the sale, but also wanted us to pay for the upholstery work she got done without first verifying the seats would even work in her vehicle. We are not willing to pay for upholstery work as the fit should have been verified before the work was done.

Our policy is such that we look for replacements within 60 days. This is still within the 60days, and as such, if the customer would like to explore options that fall within our company policy and the policy on the receipt, we are happy to accommodate.

I never said I wanted them to fix the seats I thought they would fit since they came out of a 96 ****** t100 if somebody put different holes in the truck it came out of then I should've been told they have refused to do anything when I contacted them by phone they did not offer to find seats but clearly they don't fit my truck. They are lying about me wanting them to fix it they recommended someone to fix and clean them up. They didn't offer credit or to look for another seat. I told them they won't fit because the don't and nobody wants to modify them to fit because it's a liability.
