    On 6/2, ****** damaged a irrigation line on ***** between *********** and ***************** just outside ******** putting my subdivision of 65 acres out of service. (I order water for the subdivision) I located the break about 5:30pm on 6/2. A backhoe was over the break and the crew had gone. They clearly knew there was a problem. Today 6/3, I checked about 2:30pm and was told they were waiting for cement. I asked when the break would be fixed and was told when the cement arrives? Then a couple of days for it to set up. The repair should have been done Monday. When ****** would cut a telephone cable, I would often be out till midnight putting customers back in service. Apparently, ****** does not fit this mold.I am asking you to light a fire under a ****** boss to fix the break, now.I do have a call in to ******. Thank you,**** ******

    The damage that occurred on 6/2 was to an unlocated irrigation service.  We followed digline requirements but this facility had not been located by the facility owner.  Even though the facility owner would be responsible for repairing an unlocated facility we begun repairing the damage at our own expense.  The facility owner ****** irrigation district required a certain repair that involved a 3rd party concrete service.  The repair was scheduled to be done on the 6/3.  The 3rd party canceled the appointment and rescheduled for 6/4.  It should be resolved once the concrete cures and is to the satisfaction of the irrigation district.  Some repairs require more coordination than others.  The irrigation district has now begun locating their services on the rest of the project and communicating with our crews.  The complaintant had called the front desk around 3pm on Tuesday the project supervisor had been sent the message but had not able to call him back before end of day.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    This can easily be resolved. ***** says they complied with digline law. Please attach the current locate request that covers the damage on 6/2. I believe it says locate request must be made 48 hours in advance of digging, except emergencies, and expire in about 10 days.
