    On April 24th, I was working with Five Star Disaster Services regarding a recent flood in my house. They were assisting with the water mitigation. l had been looking at cabinets and provided him with a quote that I received from ****** for ************ cabinets. I had provided the estimate. *** stated he could get me the cabinets in stock at ******. He stated that they would come in at my quote but the picture he sent were cabinets that were NOT the ones I provided in the quote. In fact, the cabinet he wanted to purchase were lesser quality but he was going to charge me the price for the higher quality cabinets. When I inquired about the cabinets and asked if it will be less than the quote I had provided to him, I heard no response back from him. After 4 hours with no response, I messaged him again and explained my reservations about the budget. He responded "Make to selections one what you really want and then I'm back up and if the one you really want costs more, we will reach out to our adjuster for a supplement and get more money from him." He clearly did not say he was purchasing the cabinets and but did say that if I wanted the ones that cost more, he would reach out to my insurance. When we corresponded the next week and I again expressed my concern with the budget and asked for an invoice of what I currently owed him, he stated that he had purchased the cabinets already. I stated there was a mis-understanding as I had communicated that previous week that I was feeling anxious about everything and had reservations about the budget, etc. and that he clearly said I could make my selections. He is now attempting to charge me $400 for travel time to pick up and return the cabinets. ($200 each time) I explained that I felt that since it was a mis-understanding on BOTH our parts that I would be willing to pay for 1 of the travel costs = $200. He has stated that there was no confusion on his end and has invoiced me for both.
