    It begins with our relator referring us to Big Bear Roofing. Once hired, a woman met with us and we picked out the shingles. She stated that they were in stock and they would start the roof next week. They did not show until three weeks after picking out shingles and they tore off the roof and found rot. Everything stopped. We had no roof for one month in the middle of winter. We had a hole in the roof that was 16 feet by 22 feet for one month. All we had was a tarp covering what was left of a roof. We eventually had to threaten to *** him and gave him a two week time frame to do the roof in or we were going to court. Magically, we had a roof five days later. At this point he begged me not to do a negative review on ****** or turn him in to the Better Business Bureau. I found this to be an unprofessional request considering the poor customer service and lack of professional experiences we had with his business, We had concerns about areas of the roof that did not meet our expectations. He agreed that the work was "concerning" and stated he would send someone to fix it and it never happened. After paying him in full, we had to call because our new gutters that we never saw needed to be installed. First he blamed the other business instead of taking accountability. States he called them several times. After numerous calls by us, he said he was on his way to our home with the gutters and he was going to do them now. He never came. He stopped answering our calls after leaving him various texts and voice messages. We paid $340 for the gutters plus labor and have never seen our gutters. We left messages and texts asking for a simple refund. No luck. The owner, ****************, owner of Big Bear Roofing, is one of the most dishonest, habitual lying, unreliable, terrible, terrible, terrible human being of a business person I have ever deal with in my entire life. Do not ever hire this company to do anything! You will be scammed!

    **** contacted us and refunded us $400. He partially rectified the situation. We appreciate the gesture since it was the right thing to do.
