I scraped the s*** out of the black mold that was living in the bathroom. I lived in an apartment that would blow fuses because of shoddy, unlicensed electrical work that was causing arching and nearly burnt down the apartment. When I brought it to the notice of the landlord, they told me to wait and then never provided a licensed electrician. Just someone whos retired and would help them out. Once the entire next apartment flooded, they left me out for nearly two weeks. They also promised they would cover the expenses.

    Complaint No. 23084665:

    Response:

This complaint appears to be unfounded. This appears to be a complaint from a disgruntled tenant who was evicted for breaching his lease shortly after Pierce Plumbing LLC made repairs to his apartment. Pierce Plumbing LLC does not own the apartment, is not the landlord, and does not owe this individual any money.

Pierce Plumbing LLC is a licensed plumbing contractor in the state of Idaho, license number ******.  The ********************** Contractor License is currently active and in good standing.  Rod Pierce also holds a Plumbing Contractor License, number ***********, and a ********************** Journeyman License, number **********, which are also active and in good standing.

Pierce Plumbing LLC provided repairs to the apartment building plumbing system after a water line break caused flooding in two units, including one rented by this individual. Pierce Plumbing LLC performed repairs at the request of the property owner, not this tenant. The property owner paid for all necessary repairs. Other damage remediation was performed by qualified professionals with proper licenses and excellent reputations in the industry. There was no report or evidence of mold while this tenant lived at the apartment or after he vacated it.

Pierce Plumbing LLC  is aware of a separate incident that required electrical repairs for which a licensed electrician made repairs at the owners expense. Pierce Plumbing LLC did not perform the electrical repairs.

Because this complaint does not involve Pierce Plumbing LLC, we respectfully ask that the matter be closed.
