At 53, this was my first insurance claim. ********** staff was patient, helpful, and answered all of my questions. I was told my car may take 5 days depending on any hidden damage. I got my car back in two and a half days!! What a wonderful and helpful staff! My car looks great!!

Nice work on the bumper but ridiculously high quote of $2500.00 for a 3 inch scratch. Would not recommend!! The bumper was covered by insurance.

Thank you so much for your kind review. Even with parts shortage and delays, the team works super hard to get things lined up ahead of time so we can get vehicles in and out without sitting around - to get you back on the road. We appreciate your business and here anytime you need us!

If you take your vehicle here I hope you don't have any issues because if you do you will be treated very horribly. Their customer service is despicable. I spent several years in customer service and I have never ever heard anyone speak to a customer the way I was treated. ************************* was rude, argumentative, and downright mean. There was no care or compassion in her customer service. No customer should leave a business feeling berated and belittled. Shame on you ******** Autobody for treating a customer who brought you over $9,000 worth of business so poorly. I'll never spend another dollar here and I highly suggest you bring your business elsewhere I've heard great things about Northwest Autobody, go there instead.

Dear ******* - this is the same review you left on ******* so my response will sound almost identical. Again, I am happy to discuss your concern with you directly on the phone. Both *** and ***** at the shop have already spoken to you about the cause of your air conditioner (A/C) issues. I am sorry that you are not accepting their expertise. We are simply not responsible for its malfunction, not were those issues caused by your recent collision.

That said, we still feel terrible that your A/C is acting up. It's not all that uncommon this time of year after several winter months of non-use. So the timing is unfortunate for sure, but it was in no way caused by **********.

      Here's why know.

      1) 100% of your collision repairs were in the back of your SUV (rear bumper, left rear fender and liftgate), while the ** unit is located in the front, right under hood. (For our readers, heres a ******* video showing the exact location of a 2017 Buick Enclave A/C unit charger: *******************************************.

So bottom-line, we had no reason to touch your A/Cs system. Your $8100 in collision repairs are well documented as part of your ***************** claim and your A/C was never compromised.

      2) From everything we've seen and reviewed in your file, the Air Conditioning (A/C) System was in trouble before you came in for body repairs on your Buick Enclave. The experts at Emerald ********** diagnosed your A/C problem as an overcharged system meaning, someone put in too much freon (refrigerant) by at least half a pound. When too much freon is added, it strains the A/C system over time by blowing an A/C hose or damaging the compressor. The problems dont necessarily show up right away. Now, if for any reason, the front of your SUV or the A/C had been compromised in your accident, please know that our specialized pro grade A/C equipment is set to evacuate then fill A/C units to OEM specifications ONLY.

      3) The fact that your system was overcharged leads me to believe that your A/C was not repaired by a certified expert nor with professional equipment. More likely, a do-it-yourself (DIY) A/C recharge can. It is possible that it happened before you bought the vehicle a previous owner, a used car lot, any non-certified amateur.

(BUYER BEWARE! While retail stores like ******** Amazon and Autozone sell DIY A/C recharge kits, we DO NOT recommend it! Those kits are one-size-fits-all. They do not follow precise OEM specifications for individual makes and models. Each auto manufacturer stipulates EX**TLY how much refrigerant can be used by weight in pounds or ounces. But those DIY recharge cans make it easy to OVERFILL automotive ** systems and you risk blowing the A/C hose or damaging the compressor. All to say that a) they can cause overheating therefore blowing hot air and b) they can create bigger, more expensive problems for your A/C system. It's just not worth a $39 cheap fix.

Here's a good article that detailing the risks of using Do-It-Your A/C recharge cans: **************************************************************************** .

*******, at no time do we want anyone to feel hurt or belittled. Quite the opposite. Our goal is to arm customers with facts, so you can pursue the best solution. The good news is that you caught the problem early and it can be fixed - not forever damaged.

Please do get it repaired by an expert. It will save you a lot of money over the long-run. Best of luck to you!

If anyone has questions about A/C repairs, please don't hesitate to give us call: **************, or text us 24/7 at **************.

      Best,

      ***********************

      Owner, ********** Autobody
