I purchased 5 pounds of black powder and only 4 arrived. The company doesnt wish to do anything for me to recoup my moneyBusiness Response

We were unaware that this happened. As far as I know, we have never received a call or any type of correspondence from you in regards to the missing powder. I am rejecting this response because: I did receive a call and have yet to receive a refund. Now as this was an explosive item that was supposed to be shipped to me and was not, should I reach out to the *** as this looks like a fraudulent sale

After reaching out to you, we did in fact give you a refund on 3/11/2024 for the pound of powder that you said was missing from the order you placed with us. We also gave you a refund for the shipping costs. It might take a few days, depending on your bank, to see the actual refund hit your bank account. If you still don't see the refund by the end of the week, please give us a call and we can see what is going on.

Fraudulent advertisement/selling wrong product for higher price. I ordered 3 boxes of 32WSL ammo. I received in the mail boxes labeled as 32WSL ammo but inside was ***** ammo. ***** is comparable to the 32WSL but is not the same and may cause damage. The 32WLS is also a difficult ammo to find whereas the ***** is not. A box of 20 32WSL is about $40.00. A box of ********* sells for about $40.00 I contacted the office, they requested photos. I am basically deaf ... so all the contacts with Buffalo Arms in *****... were made via email ... Buffalo Arms in each contact email promised that Buffalo Arms that the check for the items ... would not be cashed until the items had been sent to me. The email replies promised that If I sent the payment ... That the check for $104 for the parts plus shipping ... that I sent to them would not be cashed until the items had shipped ... I have saved those emails saved in my email contact file ... with those statements ... If you need me to send them to the better business bureau... That I can forward to you ... if you wish... My bank informed me that the check that I sent to Buffalo Arms ... was apparently cashed as soon as the check was received by Buffalo Arms ... The items in question still have not been shipped to me... All I get now ... is that the items will be sent soon ... with no explanation as to why the check was cashed ... as soon as it was apparently ... received ... It tends to appear that all Buffalo Arms wanted was for me to send the check the to Buffalo Arms ... so that they could cash the check ... One can only wait for so long with promises from Buffalo Arms ... that the items will be shipped in the near future ...Initial Complaint

I purchased a box of 8x22 Nambu from Buffalo Arms my order number is ********* and I purchased it on July 31st. I just got my ammo from this company today which is August 8th and decided to try it. I tried the ammo and none of it chambered in my gun which on the website it stated that it was loaded to exact spec of the original ammo this firearm was chambered in. With this being said I have tested and fired this firearm successfully along with checking headspace so it is within correct spec and there is no reason it should not function as advertised. I then proceeded to call Buffalo Arms and the gentleman was rude to me telling me that they have three of those firearms and they worked in theirs so therefore it would work in mine. Proceeding this the gentleman then told me to try and sell it at a gun show and me being someone who is very knowledgeable in the field of firearms knows that the advice given there was not safe and or wrong especially if the ammunition was loaded to incorrect specs. Now I did do some research on some forums to hear if this has happened to any others and this isn't the first time I saw people having this issue with various different types of firearms and their ammo. The one individual stated he reloads ammo and tried to use the 8x22 Nambu provided from Buffalo Arms in his Nambu and it wouldn't work as well and he tried calling as well and they told him about the same thing as I got told.Initial Complaint

Call company prior to placing order for an item. When the item arrived, it was not what I was told they had in stock and shipped be something different. When I called then initially didn't want to take it back and told me to try and sell the merchandise. After a second phone call to them, they agreed to take the items back and issue me a full refund. They would not refund my cost to ship the items back nor did they refund me the money it cost me to have the wrong items shipped. If I would have know they didn't have what I wanted, I would not have wasted my time and money to order. I am asking for my shipping cost to and from me refunded. A total of $59.00.Business Response

**************** ordered ***** black powder ammunition, item no.AMOBP3240WIN, on May 11th , via order no000033660. **************** may have called in prior to ordering, but we do not keep phone logs or record conversations. If he had questions, **************** would have been told what was in stock and what type of ammunition we had available per sales policy. Then the decision to order was up to him, and it was his responsibility to ensure he added the correct item to his cart. He placed this order online by his own selection and in the process chose the item he supposedly wanted and added it to his cart. There is a complete item description for every ammunition SKU on the webpage right below where the button is to add to cart. **************** apparently chose to ignore this vital information. He received exactly what he ordered per our records, and was obviously unsatisfied.
**************** desired to return the ammunition, which we do not accept returns on per our clearly articulated policy on the website, THERE IS NO RETURN ON ANY AMMUNITION FOR ANY REASON!
This is for liability reasons. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that what they are ordering is correct for what they desire. **************** was negligent in his duties as a customer, and expected us to stand good for his error. After **************** had exercised an abundance of umbrage towards our kindly sales staff, we decided to make an exception and allow a return of the item to mollify him. We made it clear to him, however,that there would be no refund for shipping charges whatsoever. He agreed to this of his own free will, and now decides to file this spurious complaint against us.
We would like this complaint dismissed with prejudice, and would like **************** to accept responsibility for his actions henceforth in business interactions.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: I called prior to ordering and was told that what was in stock was ********** marked brass on the cartridges. It was even confirmed after received the product. When I called the person on the phone said the person I spoke with prior to ordering must have mis-spoke. I would have never wasted my time and money If I wasn't told it was Winchester marked brass. I just didn't make it up. I only order because a representative of Buffalo Arms told me it was marked and instock. There was no negligence on my part. I didn't what any customer should do prior to ordering something. I called prior to ordering. They made a mistake and I am having to pay for it. I have attached my ******* bill showing I called twice the day I ordered and a copy of my invoice. Remember that I am in central time zone and they are in Mountain time zone.
