Pattern of Complaints
On January 25, 2024, Better Business Bureau recognized a pattern of complaints from consumers regarding billing and collection issues, refund exchange issues, and product issues. Consumers allege they order and pay for products from Soothe Relieve’s online store, are charged for more product than they purchased, cannot cancel their orders, cannot access a refund, and the product does not work as advertised. Consumers claim Soothe Relieve is unresponsive to requests for assistance.
On January 29, 2024, BBB reached out to Soothe Relieve via email and mail for a response to this pattern. On January 31, 2024, Soothe Relieve provided BBB with the following response:
"Firstly, we apologize for any inconvenience or dissatisfaction experienced by our customers. We understand the importance of providing a seamless and satisfactory shopping experience, and we are actively working to resolve the issues mentioned. Regarding billing and collection issues, we are conducting a thorough review of our billing processes to ensure accuracy and fairness in all transactions. For refund and exchange issues, we are streamlining our return process to make it more user-friendly and accessible. Our goal is to make it easier for customers to request refunds or exchanges, and we are actively working to reduce response times for these requests. Since onboarding to BBB platform, we are always promptly responding, reviewing and solving any issues reported on BBB as well, which should make it more visible that we we are pushing our effort. As for product-related concerns, we are committed to product quality and customer satisfaction. We are conducting a comprehensive assessment of our product offerings to address any issues related to product functionality and effectiveness. This includes reviewing and improving our product descriptions to ensure they accurately represent the benefits and features of our products. In terms of customer communication, we have already enhanced our customer support team's availability working 24/7 to provide assistance and resolve any inquiries or issues promptly through ticket forms. We understand the importance of being responsive to our customers' needs, and we are taking these steps to eliminate the pattern of concerns you have highlighted. We are dedicated to improving our services and ensuring that Sooth Relieve remains a trusted and reliable brand."
