    A young contractor by the name of ***** *** has been going door to door in our neighborhood handing out his business card & telling people he has extra asphalt from a job he just finished in the area & would like to sell it for $2/SF. We did not do our due diligence & hired him without getting a final bid or signing a contract. The product we received was recycled asphalt which is unable to be heat sealed & he only did half the driveway but still he charged us $7,200. We were going to cut our losses but he went to our neighbors next & that is when we chose to confront him. His truck had no license *********** only had an Idaho Identification Card, issued in March of 2024, which he was trying to pull off as his drivers license. He claims he has lived in ***** for years & that his children go to school here. He does have a crew working with him.

    I paid **** dollars in advance to have my drive way sealcoated. They never finished the job. After 4 months I demanded my money back ***************** told me to *** him and he will never pay. I am a disabled veteran and former law enforcement. He told me that was why he would never pay me back. I have it on a recording. Stay far away from these theives.
