    We were a paying customer for the ********** today, parked our car in front of the sign that said parking for the ********** customers, all others will be towed, with no time limit on the sign for how long one can park there. Nor did the sign say we couldnt leave the car parked there. We left if there as paying customers for a few hours, came back and its towed. 745 Loft manages the property that the daily drip company has a trailer on, and are the ones who called to have our car towed. As a paying customer of the company today, and having parked in front of the sign that says for customers I expect the 745 Loft to refund us for the $240 towing fee.

    This person left their vehicle for six hours on our property in a way that impeded two of our tenant businesses' daily operations. They did not have permission from any of the three business owners  who operate on our property to leave their vehicle in this location for this long. We allow parking outside of the rope fence on our property, alongside the roadway, for anyone who is not parked for the purpose of patronizing local businesses. We were well within our rights and had good reason to tow this vehicle. The person who left the vehicle on our property was able to immediately call the business number for the towing company that was clearly posted. They had no problem retrieving their vehicle in a timely manner, and the towing company acted professionally in their handling of the vehicle and the vehicle's retrieval. I have italicized the relevant ***** State legal statutes below. 

     

    ***** State Law: TITLE 49 MOTOR VEHICLES CHAPTER 18 TOWING AND STORAGE OF MOTOR VEHICLES 49-1801. ABANDONMENT PROHIBITED. (1) No person shall abandon a vehicle upon any highway. (2) No person shall abandon a vehicle upon public or private property without the express or implied consent of the owner or person in lawful possession or control of the property.

     

    49-****. REMOVAL -- BOOTING OF UNAUTHORIZED AND ABANDONED VEHICLE FROM REAL PROPERTY. (1) Any person having possession or control of real property who finds an unauthorized vehicle standing upon his property is permitted to have the vehicle removed or booted if there is posted on or near the property in a clearly conspicuous location, in large print, a sign or notice that unauthorized vehicles will be removed or booted at the owner's expense and designating the name of the towing firm. Unauthorized vehicles need not meet the provision of section 49-102(2),
