    March 11th 2022 my dtr, myself and other family members met with *** (*****************************) the owner to look at the The Hitching Barn for my dtrs wedding Jan 2023. At that time *** assured us that there would be many improvements completed. A floor, lights, heat, bathroom, rooms for wedding *********. He was confident they would be completed because he had wedding booked for June 2022. On Mar 30th I paid a deposit via Venmo of $1467.01 + ***** cc fee total= $1511.01 to hold our date. The venue was supposed to send me a contract detailing what we had agreed upon. They did send me one contract was not for the Hitching barn and not what we agreed upon. I did not sign it. On 4/28/22 I texted ******* who I been working to request the correct contract and discuss my concerns about the lack of work. He assured me a crew had been hired and would be starting work on the Barn the following week. As June approached, I routinely started going to the venue to see what had been completed. When work was not progressing at ALL. 6-2- I called Brenden. 6-2 -*** called me back. Asking me to give them time. 6-7-22- I sent ************* a text that we would like to come by at 5:00 that day. I thought they would be there. They were not. Very little work had been completed. On July 22nd I drove by again. Still very little work had been completed. Basically looked like it had June 7th. They have added road grade for floor. Not what we were expecting. 8-3 - I sent a text message to ************* requesting a meeting -- NO Response. 8-4 - I called *** left a message -NO Response.8-5 - I called Brenden -NO Response. 8-8 - I received a text from *** that he would call me back when he got back in town -NO Call. ****- I sent an email cancelling our date and requesting a refund - NO response. ****- I sent a follow up email - NO response.
