    My parents home flooded in december of last year while they were out of the country due to no fault of their own. A local restoration company came out and started working on their property and got it to where it was ready to be subbed to a GC. Some family and I started working with the insurance adjuster on the losses and the next steps to getting a GC to take on the full project. I finally got thebokay in october to start looking for someone and was eager to get the ball moving since winter was approaching. I put a post up on a local contractor facebook page that we were looking for someone to complete a full renovation including bathroom, bedroom, living room, laundry, and kitchen. I had a few people take interest and i scheduled a time with them to look at the property. I ended up deciding on using J&P home improvements since they stated they could get the job done within the next month or so, which was the timeline i made clear from the beginning with each contractor. They started the project on November 4th and we cut them a $40k check on november 7th. They worked on it on and off for the next month and with the holidays i figured it wouldnt be completed in the timeline i gave them. I kept in contact with paul throughout november and December and the last message i recieved from him was on january 5th. I have called him numerous of times, texted, left voicemails, emailed and recieved nothing other than the shady ass response after i filed a claim with the state against his bond.

    This is the type of thing that gives small buisness owners, contractors, and people bad names and trust issues. Absolutely do not do business or work of any kind with this low life. He will fill you with lies, bullshit dead lines and then steal your money and run. Karma will catch up with him one day.

    Landscape contract signed 6/27/2022 for landscaping services detailed in the contract. The contractor required 1/2 down which equated to $24, 982.06 which we paid by check. The contractor started the work but failed to deliver before up and leaving the job with no communication. I have tried several times (24 texts sent between Nov 3rd and Dec 20th 2022; 4 emails sent between Dec 3rd and Dec 20th, 2022; multiple voicemail messages over this same period of time from Nov 3rd and Dec 20th, 2022 as possible. I often get the recording that the mailbox if full and can no longer accept messages. When he clears them I can leave a message which he has done.**** continues to be an absent contractor not responding to any forms of communication. In my opinion **** Yantis/Yantis Landscape is in breach of the contract. I request all the help I can get to make contact with **** as I desire desperately to resolve the issue. My expectation is to fairly compensate Yantis Landscape for the work they have done and obtain a refund for the remainder of the unfinished contracted service including $7,892.00 (part of the $24,984.06) I fronted Yantis Landscape to pass along to Sprinkler Medix when the landscaping work reached a point where **** would contract with Sprinkler Medix to install the irrigation system.
