    There was a fire in the building I reside in. Management promised me that they would move me into a different unit because my unit sustained smoke and fire damage. I was never moved into a different unit and had to stay with relatives and friends for a while. There has been multiple management companies taking on leadership over the building and I have not been notified of any changes. When will my unit get fixed? Who should I pay rent to? Why am I paying rent when my apartment is uninhabitable? I need help with this matter and I also need to be made whole.

     On May 7, 2023 there was a fire at the 611 building that affected units 611 1D, 2D and 3D. The three units were deemed uninhabitable by the ****************** and those tenants were relocated. However, Ms ******** unit did not suffer any smoke, water or fire damage. Management never agreed to relocate her because there was no need since her unit was unaffected.

    My name is ******************************* I stay in Indian trails apartments which is now ******************* I been living there for almost ten years I was locked out of my apartment on August 30 2022 The Manager ************************* gave me the spare key too get in my unit in she also told me too just return it in the morning so I did she said that someone left it on her desk in had my name written down that I was a vacate in I had moved out She did not call me or email me or give me a letter she took action in told the maintenance too enter my unit when I was gone in when I returned too my unit I open the door my stereo system was playing in I never hooked it up the maintenance had it placed in my kids window I guess they where jamming too music as they trashed my apartment it looked like a robbery my tv was broke in the middle of the hallway they took my bed my refrigerator my microwave my kids social security cards are gone my closet is clean out some items of clothes are missing also shoes in two portable air conditioners in also my room tv was gone on my dresser so I ran too the office in ************************ which is the assistant manager told me to be strong sister ***** get threw it sarcastically in I wanted too know why was this done she said we thought you moved out and I proceeded too ask more questions in she told me I already told you I cant give you any answers until *************** comes in the morning in as I was crying about my food that was in the refrigerator she pulled out a taco while I was talking too her in told me too come back tomorrow in the morning in she sorry for my lost I was so shocked by her actions in the Maintenance man walked up which was the same maintenance man that let me in my building the day I was locked out of my unit which he knew I wasnt moving out he said he was the one who went in in did the vacate with another maintenance man in as Im talking too him asking him why would he steal my things or garbage it I notice he was high off drugs
