      Son completed driver education classroom in August 2022. We arrived at the ******** DMV today to find out that Michaels did not file paperwork with the state to show he had completed the course. I called to find the school has since been taken over by another school and that I had to call an office at the Secretary of State. Called the SoS at 12:20pm today. They let me know that they would take about two weeks to investigate. I had a paper notarized copy of the form stating that hed completed the course.

      I signed my daughter up for Michaels Driving School *************. in which I paid the full on 9/29/2022 prior to her starting of $595. This was to include the following: enrollment fee, text books and study materials behind the wheel instruction, and certification fees. My Daughter started on 9/8/2022 and finished all of her classroom portion on 10/4/2022. She also received her drivers permit on 8/11/2022 When requesting the behind the wheel training I was told a driver instructor would call to set up after 2 cancellations I called to see whyfound out about closure and was sent certified proof of her class time as I directly requested! So, NOW how can we proceed with completing the course or any type of monetary refund. That is theft, No communication, did not provide service for the payment made. I have all receipts and names. I fully document everything! Please help! All receipts and paperwork including names *** numbers attached!

      I signed my son up for Michaels Driving School in which I paid the full amount of $545. This was to include the following: enrollment fee, text books and study materials behind the wheel instruction, and certification fees. My son began on December 12, 2022 and finished his classroom portion on January 9, 2023. He did receive his drivers permit on December 20, 2022. When requesting the behind the wheel training I was told a driver instructor would call to set up. After not receiving a call for three weeks I began to call Michaels and realized their phone numbers had been disconnected. I reached out through social media to the community and found out that Michaels had closed their doors without any notification on how to proceed with completing the course or any type of monetary refund. I now have to figure out if my son needs to still complete any type of training and I expect at least half of my Money back that I paid.

      We paid $595 for the teen driving class to include the classroom portion plus 6 hours behind the wheel with an instructor. My son completed the classroom portion last fall. I have been trying since December to get the driving portion scheduled. I've made several calls, each time and told someone will get back to me. Finally got an appt with instructor for 6 weeks out. The appt came and went today-- no instructor. Texted her and she said company is "out of business, we should have been notified". Now I'm out $595 and have no idea where his records are. I've paid for a service I didn't receive and was left with no contact information. Phone number doesn't work - website is gone.I've used this company for my other 2 sons and was very happy with them.

      My son was enrolled in Michael's driving school, he is expected to complete his behind the wheel, and he already completed the coursework last fall, but doesn't have any verification and now it looks like Michael's Driving school is no longer in business and we cannot get in touch with anyone, what is our recourse?We would like to either get this verified so he can move forward with getting his neind the wheels and be able to get his driver's license in August.

      My son was enrolled in drivers *** We went to take him tonight and they put a note on the door and it said something about management and reconstruction. I called and they are out of business. I want a refund. They are scammers.
