A representative from Armor Recovery Services was attempting a recovery at a house on my block. When asked to leave, the gentleman from Armor Recovery Services proceeded to shout profanities and derogatory statements at the person refusing to cooperate. That said person was calm and quiet, while the representative from Armor Recovery Services used curse words and accusations about citizenship. This was in broad daylight in the afternoon when children were present. Totally unacceptable from a business or any human being.

I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against ARMOR RECOVERY SOLUTIONS ***** doing business as DAT'S TOWING, located at *****************************************************************. There was no legal basis for this action as I have not entered into any contract with DAT'S TOWING, nor do they hold any security interest in my vehicle. Furthermore, this action was executed without a judicial court order, rendering it illegal and unauthorized I have sent a cease and desist letter to DAT'S TOWING, dated January 20, ****, demanding the immediate return of my vehicle. This letter instructed them to contact me within 48 hours to arrange the return of the vehicle. As of this writing, DAT'S TOWING has not responded, nor have they taken any steps to resolve this matter. The wrongful repossession and retention of my vehicle have caused significant personal and professional harm. Vehicle was repo on yesterday and recovered on the same day. Was told that after I paid the total amount for the recovery that no additional money was due. Was told that vehicle was released and to schedule an appointment to pick up vehicle. On yesterday, I scheduled an appointment at around 4 pm for the earliest time available, which was today at 10 am, there were no available appointments for pick up on yesterday. In route to pick up my car on today, I received an email that there was a hold placed on my vehicle until I paid an additional $130. Was told that this was for 2 day storage fee. I am not understanding how it is 2 days storage fee, when I settled everything on the day that my vehicle was confiscated and they put the stipulation that I could not retrieve it until a day later, now I am being charged additional money in addition to the $2945 I paid on yesterday. The finance company, the recovery center and the loss prevention all blamed each other for the additional collection and still would not release my car prior to me paying this additional fee that was just placed while in route to retrieve my vehicle. I would appreciate a refund of the additional $130 fee that I was forced to pay. Thank you. (last 6 of vin # ******)

Car was repossessed. I redeemed car and brought it current. I called armor to retrieve car. I was told it would be $880 cash. I arrived and gave $880 cash. I asked for receipt by the same mean older lady that runs front she said no receipt but had me sign a iPad for release she said I would get email. I never got email of what I signed for. I went to lot. I never gave them my key but every car door was unlocked . Who opened all four car doors? My glove compartment always had the owners manual and receipts. Now looking at car glove box is empty. I keep my car registration over my sun visor on drivers side. This was now gone. I asked armor where was my car registration and things in my glove box. They said I took it. I said how would I have taken it. It had been sitting there for 2 weeks on their lot. Armor towed the car. Clearly they took my car registration and owners manual. This is car stealing behavior - take the registration and flip the vin number and put in another stolen car and use the registration for stolen car. Cars can be repossessed by business but that business is not supposed to take things out of the car like registration. Reading the reviews they are filled with armor stealing things out of peoples cars they tow. This business is not a BBB accredit business. I now work for SBA and I know a shady business when I see it. I will be reporting them and if there is any history or PPP or SBA loans they will be reported for unsavory business practices and blocked from further funding.
