1 starEncore Moving & Storage LLC will break all of your furniture and lose your personal belongings. I recently relocated from ******* to **************. Upon pick up and drop off, I was required to pay more than I contracted for - approximately $2,000 more. Further, the movers could not care less about throwing and tossing my belongings around. They smashed my moving boxes before they were even in the truck.Then, to make matters worse, when my furniture finally arrived about a week later, 5 pieces of furniture were broken/damaged. Notably, my brand new dresser had a leg snapped in half and was caving in; 2 bedside tables were cracked in half; my stainless steel garbage was dented; my clothing rack was missing the hanging bar (defeating the entire purpose of the rack); and a storage container was cracked in half, rendering it unusable. Despite hundreds of dollars in broken/damaged furniture, I was offered a measly $130 settlement. I cannot stress enough that I would NEVER recommend this moving company to anyone - even if you are just moving down the street. They are shady movers who have no disregard for people's hard earned money or their treasured valuables. I could have (and should) packed a U-Haul by myself as my belongings would have been better off that way.Review fromMark M

They had reasonable ************* was great.everyone from the office to the ***************** they moved us from ******** to ******* in a timely matter. We had a great experience. I was referred to Encore from a 3rd party brokerage firm. While I wish I could give Encore zero stars, I can't. I would recommend anyone and everyone to stay away from this company. I was never told about full insurance, just the .06 cents on the pound. I had a brand new soft top for a Jeep Wrangler that never reached my new residence, even though they had paperwork showing that it was with the truck when they picked up my stuff for a move. I received approx $25 for a $1500 soft top that was brand new. I had many other items that were broken or never showed up. Even the guys who did deliver my belongings couldn't believe how stuff was packed by the original crew who picked up my belongings. They even took pictures of the damage cause they were embarrassed. The one thing that can and will never be replaced were the ashes of my dog that was my heart and soul. I had hoped to spread her ashes at my new location. How do you replace ashes at .06 cents? When you try to contact the owners, they hide behind the customer service employee, *******(I believe). Do yourself a favor and find any other moving company

Greetings, We think that there may be some confusion as, we never moved a Jeep and we do not have any claims for a soft top on the *** claim. We do have a customer by this name and there was a claim filed but not for the item mentioned. I have also reached out to the customer directly, apologized for any confusion or any inconveniences but Ive not hidden from anything or anyone. Im fact, Ive spoken to the customer via email and over recorded phone lines. We think there may be some confusion. We are more than happy to offer the customer full value protection, it is a paid for option. We can go back, charge the full value accordingly and allow them to re file the claim. Regardless, we are sorry for ANY trouble we may have caused and we have zero reference of this item. We do hope this message finds you well.
