  I have 2 issues. First I was told by multiple staff that all of my expenses for my visit were covered by insurance. I shortly got a bill for $733.00. I had my bank issue a payment to the provider ***** ************** for $733.00 on 11/2024 and the provider cashed the check on 11/2024. I got another bill statement dated 12/2024 asking for $733.00. I called the number on the bill which was the provider's 3rd party billing department on 1/2025. I explained I had paid this bill. I provided them the check number, check amount, the date it was issued and cashed. The billing department was unwilling to help me with this issue. They said to send in proof of payment. I mailed out the proof of payment on that day. Per their direction I mailed this directly to the provider's address. I called the doctor's office. The call went to the same external billing department. They were not willing to assist and asked again to send in proof of payment. In 1/2025 I got a third billing statement which was 60 days after my $733.00 check was cashed from this doctors office. I called the billing department and spoke with a supervisor. They could not find my payment or proof of payment either, and will not do anything to resolve this issue without proof of payment. I physically went to the doctor's office with the bill and a copy of the cashed check. 2nd. While at this visit to the provider waiting for the doctor the staff was unprofessional and rude. Staff were goofing around, opening and closing doors in horse play. There was only me and a male and female staff member in my room. The 2 of them were whispering to one another and then they were excessively giggling. Leading me to no other logical conclusion that whatever joke was made was at my expense. I also find a Podiatrist routine 15 minute doctor's visit should not be $350.00. This is excessive for the poor care that I received. This medical practice is incompetent, unprofessional, and rude.

  Having been on the receiving end of their chaotic billing process, I have to voice my opinion. I ended up sending a check with a cover letter notifying them that acceptance constituted full payment, after several statements wrongly listed procedures, dates and amounts due. They sent a zero balance statement followed by another statement with another balance. Its impossible to speak constructively to the office staff who refer you to the billing service who, in turn, refer you to the office staffOnce in their financial sights they never let go.
