In December of 2023 I had asked ABS Taylor to come out and look at my ice cream machine because I had issues with my ice cream being too soft. They came out an inspected the machine and advised me that I needed to have the belts and capacitors replaced to stop the motor leak. Then when they came out to do the repairs, they told me that the beater motor needed to be replaced for the right side and the belts but not the capacitors. The repairs for the motor wear completed Feb 24, 2024, and the leak repair January 9th, 2024. On April 29th, 2 months later, my machine was not working again. I opened the machine and noticed that there was ******* leaking and that the piping from the compressor was not cold. I had an independent repair person come out who informed me that there had to be a leak in the unit in the compartment surrounding the ******* affecting the compressor. I contacted ABS Taylor about the issue, and they wanted to charge me $411 just to come and open the compartment. I also told them that why did they replace the belts and motor if that wasn't going to fix my ice cream machine issue? I also asked them why they didn't identify the compressor issue that was causing my issue at the time of service and instead charged me for belts that didn't stop my leak and a motor that didn't help my ice cream issue? They responded by telling me that they didn't tell me that I needed to replace the motor when in fact the estimates they wrote say specifically that. I even asked them to come get the motor back and refund me since the machine is now worthless and they would not work with me to come to a resolution. I am disgusted that they cost me over $2000 plus $450 for an independent technician to look at machine, since they cannot be trusted. This is unethical and I want my money back for this terrible work because not I have a new motor in an unsalvageable machine. They made me invest money and throw money at a problem they didn't even solve. sent pics in email
