    We took our English Sheepdog age 13 1/2 to the Barker Shop for bath and trim. We have been customers at least 15 years but our regular girl left them. So we had a new lady. When we came to pick her up an area had been shaved and a growth removed. Or attempted to be removed. History:Our dog had a growth our Vet had biopsied and found to be harmless. Because of her age the Vet thought we shouldn't remove it We tipped the groomer and pd before we saw our dog. We were shocked and spoke to the owner who said yes they did that to our dog. After taking our dog to ************************** the Vet there had to do proper shaving and cleaning of the open wound. It was infected. She told us it was illegal for the groomer to have done such a thing and that we should report it. I called the Barker Shop owner ,*****, the next day. I told her we were very upset about what they had done. She said she actually had done it,does this kind of thing all the time and would do it again. I told her what the Vet said and she hung up on me. That was March 9 and our dog is still not healed. Imagine your dog having a growth removed with no anesthesia. I would like a refund of ***** grooming,15.00 tip and ****** for the Vet Bill. ****** total.

    I brought my dog to the barker shoppe in ******* ******** on 7/25/23 around 8:15am. I specifically stated that I did not want my dogs fur cut at all, and that all I wanted was paw pads trimmed and a little of his fur by his back legs and bottom trimmed for hygiene purposes. I specifically stated I did NOT want my dogs fur cut. When I picked him up they did not listen to me and they cut his tail very short. When I got home and assessed it more, I called them back stating that I was not satisfied with what they had done. And that they did not listen to my specific instructions. I told them that I wanted a refund or money back. His tail looks terrible and is very short now and the overall groom is poorly done. The employee on the phone was very rude, she did not care stating that this was a professional golden groom, which I did not ask for at all, and that she would not refund any money to me. They charged me $85 for this and I left a $10 tip on my credit card before I saw my dog. I would like a full refund of my money plus the tip.
