  Max, **** and the entire team did an outstanding job rodding out my sewer line as well as replacing the line.Then they last minute laid new concrete for my front walkway.I love the finished job and would recommend them to anyone needing plumbing and concrete work!

  Back in early May, 2024 a section of my driveway collapsed. I immediately called Windy City Rooter, *** located in *******, **. because of their excellent reputation. They found that my sewer line from my house to the street broke in 3 sections. Not only did they do an fantastic job replacing my entire sewer line to code, the owner ************************* met with a representative of my home owners insurance policy on site and was the sole reason I was reimbursed a sizeable amount in the thousands of dollars. If anyone ever has a similar problem I recommend you do not hesitate for a second in calling Windy City Rooter located in *******, **.

  **** and his helper from Windy City Rooter came out to my house because I had sewage backing up from a floor drain in my basement where I also have two clean outs. In total he was here for about 45 minutes and less than 15 of those minutes were spent on actually trying to clear the blockage from my drain. His quick visit costed me just under $500. Not only that, but I was charged $14 more than the quoted price. Im assuming the additional charge was for a credit card fee which I was not made aware of ahead of time. He told me that just outside of my house my 4 cast iron sewer ***** transitions to 6 clay ***** Apparently the ground has shifted over time and the cement holding the 4-6 transition piece has made it impossible to continue attempting to free the blockage. He quoted me $6,000 to dig a hole in my yard so they can add a clean out to the 6 clay ***** A while later I had another plumbing company come out for a second opinion. Not only was he able to free the blockage from my sewer line via access from my basement clean out, but he did it in under 30 minutes. He then showed me a video recording of my cleaned out sewer line with his inspection camera. Not only was there no 6 clay **** anywhere in my sewer line, he also showed me that I did in fact have a double clean outs in my front yard. My entire sewer line is 4 cast iron ***** Not only did Windy City Rooter lie to me about a faulty 6 clay **** line, he also lied to me about there being no outside clean outs. The only thing more full of s*** than my sewer line is Windy City Rooter. I feel terrible for all of the other customers they have and continue to s**** over. I will never use them again and recommend everyone to stay away from this sham of company. I literally have proof that I was lied to by you guys. I even called you guys to give you a chance to make this right. I was told I would receive a call back and I never have. HERE AT WINDY CITY ROOTER WE DRAIN YOUR WALLET, NOT YOUR PIPES!!!!

  Windy City Rooter went above and beyond for my sewer repair. They answered my call promptly and were out to service me within a couple of hours. I had received a few estimates from other companies, and Windy City Rooter was by far the most reasonably priced compared to other companies I called. The work was done impeccably, they were on time and communicated with me throughout the entire process. I felt 100% confident and comfortable and will be referring friends and family to this amazing company. Thank you Windy City Rooter for making a stressful situation as easy on me as possible.

  I had called Windy City Rooter because my toilet was making a weird noise, within the hour I had a technician at my door, ***** was very friendly and explained what he would need to do. I would highly recommend Windy City Rooter..

  Let me start off by saying the whole process from start to finish was nothing short of amazing!!! I had a sewer back up. *** showed up within an hour. Diagnosed the problem with ease. And had his team out that day to repair my sewer. His crew was very polite and conscious of my home. Before they did anything, they made sure that my home was protected. All around a great company great people I highly recommend this company to anyone!!!

  Windy City Rooter charged an exorbitant rate to install a new toilet. They charged me $679 for a simple toilet install, and I bought the toilet myself. Dont use them.

  *****,Sorry you did not like the price. You were given the price upfront, there were no surprises here! My team spent 3-hours with you. They escorted you to the ********** while you shopped for the new toilet, and you picked out the toilet of your choice. My team loaded and transported the toilet back to your home, assembled the toilet, installed the toilet and disposed of the old toilet. We are not the cheapest and not the most expensive, but we fall somewhere in the middle when it comes to pricing. If you did not like the upfront price that was given to you, I'm not sure why you chose to move forward with our service. In any case, we wish you the best of luck.

  One of the highest compliments you can give a service professional is that you trust them. From my initial contact with ************************* and the crew of Windy City Rooter, I knew that I selected the best firm to repair our sewer issues. From start to the finish, the entire crew was professional, courteous, with high quality ********* diagnosed our problem, came up with the solution, and executed it flawlessly. *** was also helpful suggesting a firm to deal with an unrelated issue in our home. His recommendation was spot on. I enthusiastically recommend Windy City Rooter!

  I posted my review on their ******** page but was blocked by the company and so was my husband. Not only that, we were sent a cease and desist to take down our review! So I wanted to come on here just to tell our story.Probably the first time I would ever post something like this, but wow are we disappointed at the work done at our house! My biggest issue is just how unprofessional and disrespectful the owner *** was speaking to us about the whole situation. When **** called to tell him he wasnt satisfied with the work that was done he called our basement hillbilly s*** **** was also down in the basement with his workers before the job started and he turned to his employees (hard to type out but I want people to know) and said I dont want this to look like n*gger work. He continued to raise his voice and yell at **** when we just wanted all the issues resolved, which it wasnt, they asked for another 17k to fix the rest of the situation on top of the 13k that was already spent. Not only was the issue not resolved but our basement and lawn looks like a war zone! Im sure they will come and attack me on this post because after reading the negative reviews that seems to be the course they take. **** and I both work with the public and service industry and would never disrespect our clients like this.

  We had a plumbing emergency with some flooding and Windy City was the only plumber out of five that we had called to respond. They came out at 12:30 in the morning and were back at 7 AM to repair the damage and make recommendations to avoid future problems.
