Date: 11/19/2022 Amount Paid: $3,305.48 Company provided to replace struts front* and sway bar links. Ball joints lower left and right, computerized alignment, and muffler. Reason of dispute is because the alignment is still not fixed, the control on the wheel is still pulling to the left, the muffler is abruptly loud and shaking when in braked position. When these were claimed to be fixed and replaced in working order. When it wasnt when I drove it off the lot. Went in to express my anger saying I payed $3,305.48 for them to fix whatever was wrong and for the problems to still be persistent is why Im disputing this. They were willing to fix the issues but told me it would cost me more. I refuse to pay them any more amount of money and want a full refund.

On 5/16/22, I brought in my wife's vehicle to Midas, where I have had prior service multiple times on our vehicles. The timing chain was due and recommended to be replaced. I paid $2,067.23 for the job to be completed. After returning home, the car was parked on my driveway where I noticed a fresh oil puddle underneath. I called Midas, they came to the house and minimized the issue and tightened the oil drain plug. We also had noticed that there was a new dent in the front driver's side quarter panel. They took a picture of the dent, said we should get an estimate for repair of the it, and they would pay for it. The next day, my wife took the vehicle and reported that it was actually driving worse than prior to bringing it in for the timing chain. As days went on, she reported a continued worsening of how the vehicle was driving. We avoided bringing it back to Midas, as we no longer trusted their work. We brought the vehicle somewhere else for the timing to be checked, and they reported and documented in detail how the timing chain had been installed wrong and required the timing chain job to be completely redone. So, we paid for the job to be redone, and the vehicle drove fantastic afterward. I went back to Midas to discuss the situation, and they made copies of the documentation of issues from the Midas job. They initially agreed to refund the job, but then they pulled back their offer and said they would only refund the labor cost, which was $790. This was unacceptable for the situation, and I have been continually checking in to request resolution of what is their financial responsibility to the situation. They said they fired the individual who had done the job, but that doesn't solve my situation. They have most recently been deflecting my calls through excuses, and I feel they are preventing resolution of the situation without legal intervention.
