    Hornak was one of four companies my association recommended for patio door and window replacement. I needed two new patio doors and a window replaced to improve the draftiness of my living room and kitchen. Their installation actually made things worse, and although they did have someone come and install the forgotten weatherstripping, things only minimally improved. I've reached out to Hornak repeatedly to no avail.

    I was referred to Hornak Home Improvement about replacing a sliding glass door and panel in Oct 2021. Upon replacing the stationary panel in Nov of 2022 because of bent screen blades in between the glass pane the replacement panel has very noticeable scuffing and missing caulk in the top right hand corner of the window boader. After I reached out to Hornak Home Improvement they told me that instead of them fixing the issue, they are going to send me touch up paint and have myself fix the problem. I didn't notice the scuffed up area until after the installers installed the new panel. And less than a week later after I brought up this complaint to Hornak I'm being told that all services have been completed in full while they're going to send me touch up paint to fix the issue. I wish I could post a picture because my words alone don't give this issue enough justice. A company that's been in business over 30 years I would think they'd try and make their customer satisfied instead of just being asked to be paid in full for an underwhelming installation.
