My current bi-focal upper vision needed to be updated and the lower vision was ok but maybe could be a little sharper. At the 1st (October 8) visit I explained in detail I would be using the glasses for *************** top work. When I got the new glasses & used them at work I could not see clearly from the lower bi-focal. At the 2nd exam (October 29) I brought in measurements with the distances of my computer and the desk top with the key board pulled out. After almost 3 weeks (November 18) the 2nd pair of glasses were ready. Once again, I could not see clearly out of the lower bi-focal.I went back for a 3rd eye exam (December 17). With all the changes I was told the high index lens material (that I paid for $80) could not be used with the adjusted prescription, the new prescription had to use polycarbonate. The polycarbonate lens cost less ($40).After almost 1 month (Jan 15, 2025) the 3rd pair of glasses were ready. Finally, I could see both top and bottom through the glasses. I requested a refund for the difference between the high index & polycarbonate lens cost, $40, not a lot of money but still I did not get what I paid for and I should be refunded the difference, not to mention the inconvenience of the multiple exams and taking time off from work for each appointment. The office manager denied my request, stating it was my fault the prescription was not correct multiple times, and the doctor is not responsible for getting it right. Unbelievable!
