We contacted Revived Exteriors in November 2022 for a job to replace a sloped and a flat roof, gutters and siding on a residential property in ************* in *******. This was an insurance claim with additional self paid siding. Revived also acted as the public adjuster. Work on the roof was done in May 2023. In February 2024, we learned that the flat roof part of the job had never been completed to business standards. Apparently, the old roof was torn off, then due to rain forecast a TEMPORARY roof was installed. This was never redone. We are requesting Revived complete this job according to business standards, or remove the charges from our invoice so we can pay another company to do the job. In June 2023, the siding was started, then the company installing the siding walked off the job due to an issue with soffit repairs that they were unable to repair. The siding was left partially completed for six months until we found another company to do the repairs, the siding and the gutters. There are related items on Revived invoices that they never did. Also they have not provided us with a breakdown of an invoice for $6,181.11 for the siding portion that they say only includes what they did.This company is very hard to communicate with. They rarely reply to either phone or emails. We have repeatedly told them that we want to work with them to resolve these issues. We sent a detailed email to the owner on 6/24/24. We had no reply or communication of any kind, except to find that on August 30 they sent us to collections.Business Response

Roof Installation:
In May 2023, we completed the roof replacement as part of the overall project. During the process, we uncovered unforeseen structural issues with the framing that were not included in the original insurance scope of work that would allow better rain runoff drainage. Although we did not encounter any issues finding contractors to perform the necessary framing work, the problem arose because the insurance company refused to cover these essential repairs, even though they were required by code. This created a financial barrier to completing the roof to the proper standard. However, the roof does not leak and meets our warranty minimum for a leak free flat roof installed
Siding:
As we began the siding portion of the project, we uncovered significant rotted and box framing issues that had been hidden by spray foam insulation, making them impossible to identify beforehand. These issues were beyond the scope of a typical siding installation. We made considerable efforts, including bringing out six additional contractors, but none were willing to take on the project due to the burden of hidden damages. As a result, we asked the homeowner to assist in finding a contractor who might be able to complete the necessary framing work.
Invoice Clarification:
We have provided the homeowner with an itemized breakdown of the invoice, which only includes the labor and materials for the work Revived Exteriors completed. No additional charges were applied for the uncovered framing issues. Our goal was to recoup the costs associated solely with the work that was performed.
Communication:
We acknowledge that communication throughout the project could have been improved and regret any frustration this may have caused. While the structural issues added complexity to the project, we continuously worked with the homeowner in an effort to find a resolution. We are committed to improving communication with our clients moving forward.
Conclusion:
We regret the difficulties encountered on this project, which were largely due to unforeseen structural issues and hidden damages. Revived Exteriors remains dedicated to working through these challenges and ensuring that we provide the best possible service to all of our customers.

they have not resolved our issue of rippled and bowed siding above our garage have made several attempts since November of **************************************************************************** when warmer(11-3-2022), called again to make sure info was received and pictures also(11-11-2022),Male called back and thats when told to cold wait till warmer weather...................Called on 5-16-2023 to see if coming out,male returned call said needed to order (siding?) never heard anymore called back on June 30,2023 to see whats going on...again a male called back said we are very busy be out end of July, 1st of August .....called on August 16 2023 talked to a ******** told she would relay the message left e-mail on their website as of August22,2023 still have no call back or e-mail.......would like a resolve to problem Insurance claim #************ Year of claim2017 Quest Premium Vinyl was told by their representative siding was not put up right in that area....thats why its bowing and rippling.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:the year of first contact was in 2022 in the time frame of the warranty......I believe they did not respond because so close to the warranty time , so they let it go over......also today Wednesday Sept. 18, 2023 they said they were coming to our home to look at it and as of 4:30 pm no one has showed up or contacted us......they are just thinkn were gonna let it go.......we are not. I will go on they're website with my review and not recommend them AT ALL......BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE....ALL WE WANT IS FOR THAT AREA TO BE FIXED , HE TOLD ME ON THE ***** THE REASON IT DID THIS IS BECAUSE IT WAS PUT UP WRONG THERE ( POSSIBLY TO TIGHT)) DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY

i paid for a tarp installed on my roof for 200$ and they clearly said that if i go with their company that it will be credited as an advanced payment going towards part of my **** deductible. we agreed and i even agreed to pay an extra400 so that they will replace my fascia. so i paid another **** 800 to complete my **** deductible and 400 for the fascia. weeks passed they called and said they wont do the fascia anymore. i asked for my ******************************************************************* exchange for the fascia. they did not fixed the gutter as promised. had it subcontracted employing a *********************************************************** my full refund. poor workmanship with nails exposed and a nail left between a shingle. i have to cleaned up some of the debris they left and picked up 15 nails that day. the neighbor was unhappy as two of the workers peed in their yard eventhough i told them they can use my restroom.
