    We recently acquired a rental company store in ********, ** called ******** Ready Rental. We rent a wide variety of equipment to contractors and homeowners in ****************, **. We were interested in adding additional new Vermeer equipment (we have trenchers, a couple ***** grinders) I would not recommend Vermeer Midwest. I have had several very poor experiences with their company. They charge excessive travel fees for working on new equipment (fuel surcharges, mileage charges, plus the full price of the maintenance tech, which are suppose to be discounted for warrantied equipment. $1400. It ended costing us almost $1400 to travel 90 miles to our location from *********, **. I would have dropped it off in *********, **. They also sold us the more expensive carbide teeth, when the traditional yellow jacket teeth are 1/3 the costs and are a more effective solution for rental companies. I had requested info on the yellow jacket teeth which were priced at $10 per tooth versus the $30 teeth. I have had some bad experiences with sales *** **** who really didn't understand our business and seemed to think I didn't have the capital to acquire new equipment. We are not a startup company and we have the resources to finance and buy competitor products. The current company we acquired has been in business for more than 30 years. If they took the time to understand the business, and actually understand our business needs instead of trying to rip us off they might do a little better. Please do better and listen to your new customers. What is the value of my business relationship over 5 or 10 years? You want to build inroads with customers in ****************? Furthermore, this ***** grinder is under a transferable warranty, I don't see the value in that if they don't offer any discounted pricing based on the warranty that was good until December 2025.
