      Date-December 20th-December 30, 2022 Bathroom Remodel ***** was 1. Unwilling to fix his work 2. Went shopping daily and purchased tools on the daily. He has denied purchasing them and is unwilling to pay for them after having his client, myself, sign a legal binding contract stating he would provide all tools and labor.He not only purchased these items with the clients money, the client was unaware of these purchases. He was asked more than 2 times if he purchased these items and denied allegations. Once provided with receipts, he became willing to pay. When he saw how many items he purchased, as it became over $100, he denied purchasing ALL of the items, only some of the items, even though they shared receipts. The client asked if he could work with her and with no reply via text or phone, the client realized she was blocked from ***** who owned J's Handyman Service LLC.

      To whom it may concern,

      J Handyman Services has attempted to make a schedule with the client under multiple occasions of which were disregarded to resolve a unnecessary conflict. We have multiple texts that the client reported that they were extremely happy with our bathroom remodel and was done in a timely manner. Js Handyman services stayed till 9:45 PM at clients job site during the last day the job was fulfilled of which the client was joyful about. As for any tools purchased on the job,  it states on the contract labor only meaning we only purchased what was needed to complete the job. Js handyman services has tried multiple times to talk on the phone with the client about any concerns and the client has not accept any calls for scheduling. Js handyman services has multiple text records communicating *************** trying to resolve this matter.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      In Response to Js Handyman Services-

      1. Unfortunetly, I was the opposite of joyful about the work that was done in my home. Also, I had to give Js Handyman Service a deadline as they were taking so long to finish the job.


      2. Based on the english dictionary, the definition of a contractor-Labor includes tools. Definition of contractor:
      'a person and/or company that undertakes a contract to provide materials and labor to perform a service or do a job.' When the client, myself, hired Js plumbing, I signed a contract knowing that *****, the contractor would be paying for my tools.
      3. Without the clients knowledge, *****, the owner of Js contracting purchased over $100 worth of tools and even stated in writing he would reimburse the for the tools without my knowledge. I have a few of these texts listed below. The Client was told that she would be reimbursed for purchases made at ********** and Js Handyman Services would 'make things'. When the client showed the contractor all of the receipts, she was laughed at, told the skew numbers were wrong on the receipts, and furthermore, she has been  been blocked by the company via phone and text. They also will not respond to my emails.
      4. I asked for ***** to come and fix my most concerning item. The wall in my bathroom is not shape straight and my plastic tub surround is not flush to the wall. It is curved, bending, being forced by caulk. I have taken the best picture possible. I was told it was my wall.
      I was told that the drywall that ***** put up onto my insulation that came out uneven was 'because of how my walls were built. Once I paint it, they will be fine so I'm not fixing that.' I now need to find another contractor to fix this. At this point in time, I do not feel comfortable having ***** in my home even if he is willing. After everything that he has lied about and taken, I am very uncomfortable.
      5. I tried to contact ***** via phone multiple times. He was only available 'now' or he was 'working'. As it is stated that the client was unwilling to speak on the phone is not factual. The client was willing but she has a full time time job and cannot speak during the work day or at 6-7am in the morning.
      6. I am not sure what else needs to be said or done to prove that this was unethical and I should be reimbursed for the items purchased. I also need another contractor to come out and fix the items that were not fixed which is going to cost over $1000. I'm happy to attach an exact quote if necessary.

      To whom it may concern,

      We have asked multiple times if we can see pictures of our work that concerns you.Our reputation states we allways go over & beyond to please our clients.We are not reimbursing anything as to you do not let us see the job nor on pictures.We have you a contract to remove & replace your shower & your vanity & patch only labor.Anything purchased was used to fix your project only.You agreed you would paint the bathroom because you didnt have the money.After you inspected the job you said everything was perfect.When we started the project the *** mentioned that ********************* cannot talk to them via phone because of threats to the office which are on file.The neighbors also warned us that ********************* has issues with them all the time & ***** calls the police on them because she thinks the neighbors are trying to get her evicted.We are not reimbursing ********************* anything due to the lies that she is making up against our company.
