    ********************************* Aurora Oil and ************ Date: November 23, 2024 ****************************** change Charge: $82.51 Issue: Shortly after the service, my car began leaking oil. Upon inspection by ***** ******** dealership service center, it was determined that the oil adaptor had been overtightened, causing it to crack and leak oil. The repair cost is estimated at $1,604.95 plus tax.Attempts to Resolve:I contacted Aurora Oil and Lube to inform them of the issue. Initially, they agreed to inspect the car but later denied responsibility, attributing the problem to wear and tear.Multiple requests for them to inspect the damage at the service center were denied. They suggested taking the car to a different service center in *****, **, which is not feasible as the car is undrivable due to the oil leak.I contacted their corporate office and requested a callback, but my calls have not been returned.Warranty Violation: According to their website, the service center warrants that services and products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one month or ***** miles, whichever comes first. My car is within this warranty period.Resolution Requested:Reimbursement of the repair cost ($1,604.95 plus tax).Reversal of the oil change charge ($82.51) to my credit card.

    On Wednesday June 21st at about 5 pm i took my car to Aurora oil and lube located at ***************************************************** took my car in for a full synthetic oil change. My truck was in very well functioning condition until after they did my oil change. I made it home and my car started smelling like fire. By this time they were already closed for the day so i could not call. The very next day i go to my garage to see if the smell was still there and started my car up. After starting my car, it made a very funny noise almost sounding like a crank which is a noise ive never heard before. Had My Car Smoking, Sounding Like A ********************** I called the manager about 3 times and i explained to him what was going on and he admitted that when i bought my car in the other day it was not in that shape and told me to bring my car back and they would do everything they could to rectify the situation. I made it very clear to him many times that i did not feel comfortable driving my truck in the condition it is in because i feel very unsafe. He kept saying well the inly way i can fix it is if the car is in my possession. So i head up to the shop and as soon i made it to the front, the gauge shot up to the red and it just cut off. I called him and said i told u i didnt feel comfortable driving up here. He then walked up to my car and said its nothing they can do. I then had to call the police to try to get help but because it is a civil matter it wasn't much they could do. I then had to get my car towed back to my house and now my car is completely out of commission and I believe my engine is blown.
