I had recently got a fast cash loan, I made all my payments on time every month until the loan was paid off. I applied for a new fast cash loan and was denied but it costed me $20 to be denied. My issue is, if Im looking to borrow money for whatever personal needs I have why would you think its ok to charge a non-refundable $20 process fee to only be denied. I didnt have $20 to just give away thats why I applied for the fast cash loan again, if I knew it was a chance for denial I wouldnt have never applied. This credit union has definitely taught me to never deal business with anyone or any company who ask you for money upfront before you know if you will be approved or denied,

This particular branch of **** in *********** sent me a notice saying they paid a bill for me and I owed them $54.74. They apparently paid a phone bill without my consent despite me having put restrictions on my account about bills or any kind of purchases.I talked to a very sweet lady and she was able to wave the $30 fee for paying the bill and the $25.18 bill itself but could not reimburse me the $20 they stole that I had deposited to pay another bill. I talked to the *** who was very helpful getting the fees and the payment written off but the ***resentative could not get me my $20 back. And that is just wrong. They basically ripped me off and when they got caught, it came down to them ending up having to pay $5.18 because they kept my $20. I'm sure with the info I have and the self imposed restrictions I have on my account, I could find a million lawyers that would love to sue a bank. I believe **** HQ should investigate this particular branch for possible attempted fraud or at the very least for a computer glitch that could end up getting them hit with a class action suit. I will be closing my account with my home town branch because of this. Maybe that was what they wanted all along. Get rid of me.

My husband and I had a horrible experience with this credit union that I'm going to pursue as discrimination. We both belong to this credit *************************** went here about a month ago to apply for an auto loan. We were working with a woman named ****** ******** and she was impatient and didn't know the difference between gross and net income. Then I'm pretty sure she was just trying to get rid of us because she said we both had a freeze on our credit so she took our information and said she would call in a couple of days but she never did. I had to call and email her and she did reply to my email right away and told me we weren't approved. I know my credit isn't the best but my husband has excellent credit so I asked her did she pull both? Her reply was yes but that was ANOTHER lie because my husband gets an alert every time his credit is pulled and she never pulled his. We were approved somewhere else because my husband has a 815 credit score so their loss & this is not the last they will hear from me! Horrible experience!

Charged me 7 overdrafts and a total 9 in the period where my debit card was hacked. I had to transfer money from a shared account during this period which is why said overdrafts were incurred. If all 9 are not resolved and refunded, our family will be leaving GLCU along with a very large savings account in the top %1 of your members.Since you clearly don't care about poor people maybe you will when your bottom line is hit.
