    I was in receipt of a two 1 hour massage gift cards with an expiration date of 10/25/2025. They were issued to me on 10/25/2024 since I had accumulated more massages than I was able to use due to my work as a teacher and caring for a sick relative. I had to cancel my membership and the managers volunteered gift cards for the remaining sessions I had paid for. Last weekend I wanted to return and use one of the gift cards and was told I had to pay a $40 difference . This was since the card was purchased under a member rate and since I wasn't a member anymore I had to pay the difference. That is the policy of the new management who did not return a request for a phone call to discuss this. Nothing on the gift card stated the value. It was simply a 1 hour massage. I felt ripped off having to pay the difference on a gift card since I had already basically prepaid for the massages. I was told by the previous management if I couldn't use the cards within a year to give them as gift cards to someone. What is that person entered the studio with a 1 hour massage gift card and had to pay! That is wrong. I feel this location and owners/ managers need to be checked out since there has been a lot of turn over with staff etc. Something isn't right with their policies and lack or transparency/ follow ********** cautious choosing this location. The pink flags of issues are evident. Too bad- they used to be customer centered and wonderful! Now it's all about money and not retaining employees and clients. Sad!
