For 5 months now I have been dealing with a 2023 genesis g70 leased car problem. Almost failing to start on and off for the last five months. I have tried to get in contact with them for the first two months. No one calls me back and so we decide to take it in on a Saturday and no service in on Saturdays so hyndai looks and says battery is fine drive it more to charge the car. Keeps doing it and I bring it back and Genesis keeps it and runs some tests over and few days and finds the battery is fine and tells me pretty much that I dont drive the car enough, at a high enough speed so I need to drive it everyday at least ***** min at a speed of 40 or I need to charge the battery everyday. That was there solution to this problem. I have talked to others who work on cars and say that this is not an answer and something has to be done with the car. It should not hesitate to start on multiple occasions. I feel that they are not fixing the matter at hand and I feel like I should get the car fixed or a new battery in the car. I contacted customer care about this and I had an appointment set up to bring it in then they called me and said I would have to pay for a rental that Genesis did not have a loaner for me. I will not pay for a loaner. I expected a car from Genesis while they looked at my car again yet they refuse to help me out. Now they want me to wait even longer to get my car looked at until they can have a loaner for me. I just am very mad at this whole situation. I am paying on a car every month that I should not have to worry about if it will start or not and then Genesis is not willing to help me out at all. Maybe you can help me out. Thank you

We could not replicate the issue as you can see on the attached image of the repair order. The recommendation is that the customer get something like a NOCO trickle charger as letting a car sit for long periods of time and then not driving enough to charge the battery is the best remedy for something like this. I have a bunch of motorcycles and collector cars and this is what I do with most of them for the same reason.
