  We hired ***** to do a bathroom remodel.The following is our opinion on how it all went.Firstly, I'd give a negative star review if that were possible.Anyhow, my first impression was that he was very salesy during his visit to assess the job. I came in from work while he was there and caught ~10 minutes of it, and did not like him from Minute 1, as it was very used-car-lot from what I caught. My mistake was not trusting my instinct there.Job on a small bathroom for $14,000+, with us purchasing the majority of materials in addition to that number, and supposed to take ~2 weeks took roughly ~6 weeks to to complete, IIRC.He had my house ripped apart for well over a month, and closer to 6 weeks IIRC, to the point that I was ready to toss them completely and finish the job myself. They did have to do some unexpected things which tacked on some time, but this time frame for a job like this is utterly ridiculous, ******, he/they "finished". We noted some issues after the fact, reached out to see if he would stand behind his work, and have been basically ghosted. So, to this point, the answer to that question of whether he stands behind his work is a resounding "no".Aside from some issues my wife reached out to him about (caulk, tile grout, and some other things), the tile floor creaks, flexes, which is a major flaw. Problem here is, if the sub-floor moves, so does the tile. The grout is coming out, and the floor is subject to water penetration as a result, which is bad in numerous ways, including potentially rotting out the floor itself due to water damage, and I expect that the tiles will eventually start popping out and/or cracking at some point in the very near future as the floor itself is degrading every day due to the effects of simply walking on it. And, aside from the non-functional state it is in, it looks like utter garbage.We got all of this for $14,000.00+.Utter horror- show of an experience.

  We are disappointed with the job ***** did. Initially, he seemed knowledgeable but his workmanship is sloppy. His Tile work is not what we expected from a "professional". The shower ledge is sloppy and the edges are unfinished, and the mosaic hexagon accent tile is not flushed with the subway tile. The shower fixtures are not centered. The shower doors weren't installed correctly; after 48 hours, the doors shifted, making them difficult to open and close.To make things worse, ***** failed to complete the renovation. He just disappeared, and would not respond to texts or voicemails. Maybe its because he knew that we became aware of his poor workmanship and didnt want to take responsibility to fix the issues. The company's name, "Level of Detail," is ironic given his lack of attention to detail. It's probably for the best he disappeared, as we dread to think what he might have done to the expensive vanity and sink that we purchased. We have since hired another company to fix and complete the work. We cannot recommend this company.
