We had our AC go down over a weekend of nearly 100 degree temps. I called at 7:30pm on a Saturday night hoping to leave a message. Instead a wonderful human answered! They were able to send a tech out on a SUNDAY and didn’t tack on a min emergency call up charge. Instead they provided amazing service and left us with a working system. Could not be happier.

I have found **** to employ the most courteous and helpful technicians; however, I believe their labor charges to be extremely high and not commensurate with their competitors. I do understand and appreciate the expertise required for this line of work and I am certainly not condoning compromising that but **** **** can appreciate the sticker shot for replacing an air conditioner part, under warranty, for approximately $3000 in labor.

**** is wonderful. They take care of everything when they come by. I live in a house with an addition, so I have a furnace with forced air, an air conditioner and on the old side of the house, an instant hot water heater for the radiators and water. They do wonderful periodic maintenance, and are great at identifying problems (like the snow filling the furnace exhaust pipe and the bird's nest filling the A/C exist pipe). I know they will come and take care of everything.

****** did a great job servicing my furnace. He was thorough, knowledgeable and did what I expected. I would be happy to have him come back in the summer for my a/c annual service.

terrible customer service, I had my Lennox installed by **** about 4 years ago, the drain pvc pipes from the A/C and humidifier are leaking, I paid $200.00 for a service call for a half a** clean of the furnace and $50.00 for a new filter on the humidifier, the drain pipe was leaking, the tech glued a loose fitting and said said is was repaired, Pipe still leaking water and now **** wants to charge me $94.00 to come out to determine where the leak is. That should be included in the $200.00 service call. never again will I recomend ****. funny too because my neighbor needs a new system and wanted to use ****, I called him told him my story and he will go elsewhere.

    Hi ***,

The $200 you paid was for the annual maintenance package which does not include any diagnostics or troubleshooting. It is an inspection, testing and cleaning of the unit. I'm surprised to hear you call it a "half a** clean of the furnace" because when we followed up with you for a quality check phone call after the maintenance visit you stated that you were happy with his work. The $94 charge would be for a service call to troubleshoot the leaking as it could be coming from many different sources, but as we stated on the phone, if it was related to an issue from the install then we would not charge you for the service call and it would be covered under warranty. Although the install was done over 4 years ago, we stand by the quality of our installations and are happy to make a repair at no charge if it is related to the installation, but we cannot determine the source of the leaking without troubleshooting the issue first.

Kern serviced my furnace on 1/19/23 and I was charged a diagnostics fee and a quick fix to clean a pressure port. Just 17 days later the furnace went out again. I called to advise of the problem and was told "there will be no charge if it is the same issue because it's covered under 30-day warranty but I cannot determine that over the telephone." Sure enough it was the exact same pressure point that was required to be cleared. The technician reluctantly wanted to charge me for the diagnostics and believed it would credited back to me the following day. The service manager then called me the next day for lack of payment and demanded the diagnostics fee and the cost of the cleaning yet again after the same exact thing was just done/cleaned 2 weeks ago. I explained the situation and discussions held with tech the night before. He stopped listening and advised me it will be sent to collections.

Unfortunately I had a new furnace installed by this establishment in November of 2019, it worked fine for the past few ******* but as I started to switch from A/C to heat since fall is coming and I have a 2- week old baby in the house I noticed that the heat wasnt working so I called **** to resolve the issue. Everything is still under warranty for parts and labor so the technician ( which was a wonderful tech, no complaints on him) advised me the part wasnt in stock so it would take a day to get it in and then we would get it installed. I was ok with that and he proceeded to ask for payment and I obliged since this issue had nothing to do with him and he was doing his job, but I asked him why should I have to pay for a service call visit if the nature of the visit was for a warrantied part that malfunctioned and no amount of yearly tuneups couldve prevented it from failing ?? Per the technician that was a great question and he agreed and he asked me to contact the office to ask for a refund. I did just that but their poorly trained customer service rep argued with me and said no they have to pay their techs for coming out to troubleshoot. We went back and forth over why I felt I shouldnt have been charged and I informed the rep that I will give up on looking for a refund and let them install the part to get my heat working and after that was completed I was no longer giving them my business. I went online and left a review on my experience. 3 days later and I havent received a phone call to schedule the installation of the new part so I called the office and I spoke with another poorly trained associate office manager and she advised me that their company refunded my service call charge and was no longer coming out to fix my issue since I left a bad review and told them I didnt want their company anymore. No call to inform me of this decision, Im more than happy to look elsewhere bc theyre clearly lacking in the customer service department. STAY AWAY!!
