      I have taken 3 different vehicles to the Smithton Location. All 3 times have been expensive lessons. 1. Took my SUV in for an alignment. Not too long after the alignment my SUV started making a strange noise. I took it back in and had to pay because a lug nut was not tightened. 2. I got a quote for an expensive repair ($2000), which had been a code on a different SUV. When I took it in for the repair, they called to say it was spark plugs, and sensor and I will "save" money. This repair was $1000. (My spark plugs had been replaced 6 months prior to this). I paid $1000 instead of $2000 for the initial repair. 4 days after my car was returned the code for the repair I requested came back on. When I reached out the salesman asked when I wanted to schedule to get back in. They currently had my other car there and I said when that car was done. I ended up going somewhere else due to the next reason. The last and final straw. 3. Took my car in for a cylinder 2 misfire. After paying multiple diagnostic repairs and Meckfessel having my car for 3 weeks. They allegedly found the problem. Head gasket needed "cleaned". It was sent to a different shop. They had my car for another 3 weeks for this repair. They called and said it was still not running correctly due to a transmission problem. I took my car to a transmission shop for repair. Transmission shop calls to say they cannot look at transmission because the current code is cylinder 2 misfire. Original code. Contacted Meckfessel. Said they were running cars this week and would call back. Took the car elsewhere. Camera diagnostic showed cracked head. New engine. Did not hear back from anyone until 3 months later when we filed a claim with our credit card. This was $5000.00 loss, not to mention the cost of a new engine. I would not take any vehicle there. Salesman not auto repair experts or they do have the proper equipment needed for diagnosing problems.
