      An international stamp collection containing literally over ***** stamps from around the world organized by country in an album over 6 inches thick posted on pages approximately 10inches by 12 inches all over 50 years old, including an extensive presentation of iron curtain countries of the post WW!! years was submitted for sale by auction on August 4,2023 to Kitson at their place of busines.. To date, no info has been received as to sale nor has any compensation been forwarded from the "sale". Inquiries have been met with "we'll get back to you" both in person and on the phone.Allegedly the album was "SOLD" for $28.When Kitson was advised that was unacceptable and we wanted the album returned, they ceased contact. We had advised we wished return prior to an October 8 auction but were dismissed. Allegedly the album was sold 10/8. Planning to contact the State's Attorney.

      In response to the complaint filed by ******************** complained against Kitson Auctioneering. 
       
      The stamp collection was contracted to be sold with Kitson Auctioneering with no reserve. The items were sold as contracted on October 8. The total for two lots of stamps was $43. I was contacted by ************* on October 9 stating the price was unacceptable and they were coming to get them. I informed them I would have to make sure they were still at the shop. To which ************ yelled in the background with vulgar language asking where they could have gone with the auction being yesterday. I informed them that Oct 9 was pickup day for the auction. I advised ************ that I would contact the buyer and try to get them back. When I talked to ************ on or around October *************************************************************************************************************************** town. The stamps were returned to us and subsequently returned to Mrs ***** the first week of November when she came in to pick them up. 
       
      Hopefully this clears up this matter.
