    Complaint: 20887522

I am rejecting this response because:

    Dear BBB Representatives,

I trust this message finds you well. I am writing urgently in response to *********************'s recent letter regarding my complaint (ID: ********* against Merchant Services, LLC dba Patent Licensing Services (PLS). I appreciate the opportunity to provide additional insights and emphasize a crucial point in seeking a fair resolution.

I want to reiterate my deep dissatisfaction with the services provided by PLS, as my product's lack of patent protection was revealed after a substantial deposit was made. Contrary to any assertions, ******************************* is not a business associate or friend of mine; rather, he represented himself as acting on behalf of ********************* during our engagement with PLS.

While I acknowledge Mr. *** willingness to issue a partial refund of $800, I must emphasize that this falls significantly short of what I consider a fair resolution. A full refund is imperative, given the substantial misrepresentation of the services provided by PLS and the subsequent discovery that my product lacked the promised patent protection.

I cannot accept a resolution that deducts ************************ commission, as this only compounds the injustice I have experienced. It is crucial to my satisfaction and the restoration of trust that the full refund of $3,000 be processed without further deductions.

Furthermore, any written agreement to settle this dispute must be fair, transparent, and considerate of the circumstances. I am open to amicable discussions, but it is paramount that the resolution aligns with the principles of integrity and fairness.

I appeal to the BBB to thoroughly investigate and mediate this matter, ensuring that a resolution is reached that upholds the highest standards of transparency, customer satisfaction, and ethical business practices.

Your urgent attention to this matter is sincerely appreciated, and I trust in your commitment to achieving a just outcome.

    Sincerely,

    ***************************

Attachments regarding  ***************************************** Complaint ID ******** Letter.  I have on my cell phone  Audio Voicemail recording from ***************************************** stating the opposite from his written Complaint ID ******** Letter. I was waiting for my son's editing from my cell phone Audio Voicemail, to email to you, it is a little clearer. It is the 1st attachment and below in yellow highlights the Hand typed written Transcript from the attached Voicemail Recording from my cell phone: from: December 17th at 7:53 am, marked urgent message
This 1st is the newest and hopefully the clearest Audio Voicemail from *************************** to me also acknowledging that *** doesn't provide any Patent writing services.
Also, the 2nd attachment is the *** Contract - (CCF ******pdf 2MB). The letter with the *** Contract is from  *************************** and *************************** acknowledging that they had read my *** Contract for Licensing Services only.

Hand typed Transcript from the attached Audio Voicemail Recording from my cell phone:

December 17th at 7:53 am, urgent message

    Hello *****, this is  *************************** with ______ .

Hope you received my email, pretty sure you have. We decided to not to go with your company. Because like you said, your company doesnt provide the patent, unlike what the contract said. Therefore, it would be really nice to receive that refund before the day is up, wed really appreciate it. Thank you.

    End of message

Please let me know what's next.

    Complaint: 20887522

I am rejecting this response because: I hope this message finds you well. I appreciate your prompt response and the attachments about my complaint (ID: *********. I have carefully reviewed the materials you shared, including the transcript of the voicemail recording from December 17th at 7:53 am. The transcript accurately reflects my position, and I want to reiterate that the decision to seek a refund is based on the fact that PLS does not provide the specific services required for my non-patented product. As explicitly mentioned in the voicemail, the reason for not proceeding with your company is aligned with the understanding that PLS does not offer patent writing services, contrary to what was initially communicated.

I emphasize that PLS rendered no service. The decision not to continue with your company is due to the misalignment between the services I was told and thought was being offered and the reality of what PLS provides. In light of this, I firmly stand by my request for a full refund of the $3,000 deposit made.

I acknowledge the contractual agreement attached (CCF ******pdf 2MB), which outlines the terms for licensing services only. However, the fundamental issue remains that the services implied by our initial discussions and those provided must be in sync.

I appreciate your understanding of this matter and request expedited attention to the refund process. If any additional steps are required from my end or further details are needed, please do not hesitate to let me know.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this issue.

    Sincerely,

    ***************************
