    Entered contract with ************************* for kitchen cabinet painting for a total of $5,450 on 12/12/2022. Down payment of $2,180 was given. The cabinet doors were removed and taken with him. After several texts an additional $1,090 was given on 2/7/2023 with expectation and understanding the work was already underway and he would return the next day to complete the work. After numerous texts with excuses and not showing up as promised, it became apparent that he had no intentions of finishing the work. Several attempts were made for him to just return the doors, the paint, and the money all met with more excuses. We told him we were coming to pick up the doors, paint, and refund and would have the police follow ** to his house. With that he delivered the doors and paint to our house with additional excuses but no refund. He stated he didnt have the money and couldnt just come up with it on demand. The doors he quickly painted before delivering were in bad shape and the wet paint stuck to other doors. Final communication was 4/15/23 all text information has been copied.

    ************************* dba C&C Painting, LLC, ******** ** *****. I received the notice that this business has not responded to the BBB notices regarding this issue. He has not contacted me about this either. I recently received a personal message from another customer he has done this to. I do not know where to turn to resolve this issue and to safely warn others of his business practices.
