    I called and cancelled my membership in March or April 2020. It was during Covid, so the club was closed and I was instructed not to come in and it would be cancelled. I did not pay attention to my bank account, therefore, did not notice that Planet Fitness continued to take out $20 a month. When I did notice it I called and went in to Planet Fitness and spoke to the manager who said they would see about getting my money back that had been taken out of my account for 3 years. They filled out paperwork to cancel my membership at that time. Planet Fitness continued to take money out of my account until I called my bank and told them to block any further payments to Planet Fitness. I received several messages from Planet Fitness that they were attempting to take money out of my account and there was a problem. In the meantime, I had called and spoke with a manager again who told me that he would see about getting my money back and would call me and never called back. I called several times only to be told the manager was out. I called Planet Fitness headquarters every week for 5 weeks and was told that a manager, CEO, *** would be calling me in a few days. No one ever called. This is where I am at now - filing a complaint with the bbb. Hoping you can help.
