Avoid this business like the plague. My original estimate I got from them was $40 to mow my yard. After mowing it the first time they told me it would be increased to $50 since they couldn't get their riding mower in my back yard and had to use a push mower instead. They then told me my grass was too high and charged me $100 to mow it. During the drought they have come out every week to mow the weeds with a weed Wacker and charged me the full amount even though they did not need to mow my grass. When I called to ask why they were mowing during the drought he said I was on their route and my contract stated my yard was to be mowed every i. He said he could not stay in business if he did not mow it every week

Mr. D******* is a snow removal, lawn maintenance and fertilizer customer. The estimate that he was given initially for lawn maintenance was $40. It also contained the stipulations that it was a weekly mow, requires 30 day cancellations and the billing practices. He signed the contract on 4/18 and we arrived on 4/20 for the first mow. The yard had not yet been mowed that season and required a double cut. He was charged $80 (not $100 as he stated). This is also warned as a possibility for first cuts of the season if they have not been keeping up with lawn care to that point. In addition, we discussed the raised price because our riding mowers could not mow the back. It takes more time for our crew to push mow lawns. It was discussed and again he agreed to the $50. He could have opted out at that time and we would have cancelled service, but he did not. We have continued to mow and/or trim every week since April. At this point (7/13), Mr. D******* has submitted his cancellation, but wants to finish the season (end of October).
**Below is the copy/paste of the text included on the estimate that he approved (via digital signature) prior to us starting service. As you can see all of the points of his complaint are discussed in the contract.
Specifications of mowing services are listed below.
Season Starts April 1st and ends October 31st; Services run on a weekly schedule (weather permitting)
Cut height of turf using 1/3 rule to be adjusted according to ground conditions. Our goal is to maintain grass heights around 3.5 inches. This height protects your turf from being overtaken by weeds and burn during the hot summer months.
String trim along drives and walkways, perimeter of structures, landscape beds and fences.
Blow all grass clippings and debris caused by grass cutting from driveways, patios and sidewalks.
How will the billing work? We will bill at the beginning of the month for services rendered the previous month. You will continue to be fully billed for weeks in the dormant season (at our discretion) where a full service is not required. We will show up access each yard individually string trim and edge and blow off if needed. If we need to skip mowing , the lawn will not be skipped two weeks in a row unless unable due to rain. You will also be billed for double/ triple cuts accordingly in the growing season. (This also typically only happens 3-4 times a season) The invoice is due upon receipt, but we will allow one week mailing time before it is considered late. On-going delay in payment could result in paused service, late fees, or collections if left unpaid more than 30 days.

Once you become a client, you will never be able to get a hold of them. After leaving countless emails and voicemails that I would be moving and cancelling my services, I never received a response. They sent my bill to debt collections without ever contacting me and then tried to charge me for services I did not receive. Stay away from this company!
